| With only two weeks left before my 30th class reunion, I was lucky to get a room at the Super 8 , about 40 miles from my reunion site. They had a room with the accomondations I wanted, and 40 miles would be no problem traveling for a 5 o'clock dinner, especialy after traveling 5 hours to get that close. Then the day before I departed, I received an e-mail from a classmate, informing me that there was also a golf outing planned, with a 1:00 tee time. And, yes, I HAD to be there! Panic...how was I going to make it for the tee time, golf, drive 40 miles to check into my hotel, and 40 miles back in time for the dinner. A thought...check in LATE, after the reunion festivities! No way...I hadn't seen any of these people in over 30 years, and I KNEW it would be a late, late night. Per chance, would they allow me to check in early??? I risked it, arriving to the Super 8 before usual check-in time, about 11:00 a.m. I was met with a friendly and very helpful manager on duty. She made a couple calls on the 2-way, found a room of my request that had already been prepared by the hotel staff, and "wallah", I had my room and was on my way for tee time. I can't express how happy I was that they allowed me a happy and "full" day. Thank you, Super 8 and staff. John H
