Features
What to expect: Guests take elevators up to a grand lobby, that--despite its location in a late 20th-century skyscraper--reflects a distinctly Philadelphian Colonial style, with landscape paintings, antique porcelain, fine china collections, and 18th-century reproduction furnishings. A mostly business clientele frequents the hotel during the week; on weekends, families and shoppers come to stay. Amenity highlights: The hotel offers 24-hour access to both a self-service business center and a fitness center with cardiovascular machines with individual entertainment systems. Wireless Internet access is available in the third floor lobby for a fee. Insider tip: The shops of Liberty Place, including Aveda, J. Crew, Coach, and Nine West, stay open later than most and are connected to the hotel via a walkway. Along Walnut Street, shops such as Joan Shepp, Knit Wit, Burberry and Jaeger tend to close early on weeknights.
The Grill - Open daily for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, this contemporary American restaurant is known among locals as a hidden gem—especially for Sunday brunch. Grill Bar - The restaurant’s intimate pub area, with its black marble fireplace and long bar, features a large selection of martinis, cigars, and cocktails. Open lunchtime until late evenings. Lobby Lounge - Busy between conferences or after work, the lobby’s spacious, Colonial-style lounge is a popular meeting spot for cocktails and light fare. Open afternoons until late evenings, Monday through Thursday.

| The Westin Philadelphia is one of the best hotel I visited. The location is perfect for a tour. The room I had, with a very big king bed, plenty of space and a very clean and confortable bathroom, was bigger than a studio apartment.

| We have stayed here twice in the last year and are very satisfied with the hotel. The location is great and is connected to a two story mall so that you do not need to go outdoors if it is raining. It is also convenient to both the airport and train station and there are several excellent restaurants within walking distance. The staff is very professional and friendly and the lounge is large and very comfortable. I like the fact that the street entrance is on a lower level than the lobby so there is not a lot of street traffic noise when you are sitting in the lobby or nearby lounge. We would definitely return here!

| The hotel has all the amenities to satisfy a high-end business traveller but lacks the charm and character of a memorable weekend getaway. It is centrally located but the bi-level entry left us feeling cut off from the life of the city.
