| My daughter and I checked into this hotel on 6/17 and checked out 6/20/06. We were in Florida for a bowling tournament. We arrived at 2:30 AM and it took about 10 min. to check in. We opened the room door and thought not bad....until we walked barefooted for about 5 min. and the bottoms of our feet were black!!! The carpets are filthy!! The a/c unit in the window.. Filthy!!! The toilet wouldn't flush right either. I walked back to the office at 3AM because you cannot just dial a simple digit for the front desk and the hotel phone # is no where in the room and I explained the toilet. They came right down and supposedly fixed it. I was back at the office at 3:30 AM about the toilet again. I was completely unpacked by this time. They graciously offered us another room but at 4AM my 13 yr old had fallen asleep and we had to get up really early. He again assured me the toilet was fixed. I visited the office every morning about the toilet not flushing. They again offered us another room. We were gone from 8 AM til 11 PM daily with this tournament. When was I supposed to pack up and move rooms. Staff was friendly enough but the hotel is in serious need of repair and upgrading. Location is alright for getting around Ft. Lauderdale. I was extremely disappointed to find this hotel listed on Expedia whom I have trusted while making my vacation travel plans for years. Don't let the pretty picture deceive you when picking this hotel!! (OK something good...the bed was very comfy!!)
