| Although Port Lucaya is not a 5 star resort, but the service we received was 5 star. The front desk clerks were courteous, as well as the young man who took care of our luggage. The room was very clean, and the young lady who took care of it was very thorough. Altogether we had a wonderful stay at Port Lucaya, and will visit again.

| I loved this hotel. It was a real Bahamian hotel. It was brightly colored and clean. There was a large pool and a great hot tub. They were both cleaned daily and were just beautiful. The hotel was quiet and yet everything was just outside the grounds of the hotel. The beach was across the street about a five minute walk. It was so much busier and noiser on that side of the street. I guess if you like all that commotion you enjoy that location. But for my money, I liked having the choice of noise or real quiet, relaxing accomodations. I think Port Lucaya Resort and Yacht Club is a wonderful hotel and well worth the money.

| My fiance and I went to Lucaya for a four day trip. The hotel was right on the port and beautiful. The buildings were all different colors, so instead of remembering what building number we could just remember what color. We stayed in building 7, which was right in front of the port and surprisingly quiet. We had a great view of the port and marketplace from our balcony. The room was kept clean and sheets were changed everyday. The pool was nice and big with a spa. The only problem with the spa though is that it was kept extremely hot during the night. So we could not go to the spa/pool area at night time. There was a convienient fridge in the room that we used to hold our water, beer and wine. The bed was not the most comfortable but we didn't wake up with backaches from it. The staff was very friendly and willing to help with anything we needed. We did loose a bag on the plane and the hotel staff failed to return it to us until the day we left. They said they had not recieved any bags from the airline. We were the youngest couple there and everyone was married except us! The beach is very nice and clean. Pisces is the best for romantic dinners. The conch fritters are a must! The entire experience was great and we will definately return!

| The hotel was very colorful and has beautiful views of the docks where the boats and yachts are anchored. The beach is little farther than I expected. The hotel is very close to the Port Lucaya Marketplace where one can shop and eat at many different restuarants.

| Overall it was an alright hotel. Great location for teenagers since the legal age is 18 over there. The market was about a 2 minute walk along with the bars and Casino. The hotel hot tub seemed a little dirty, and room service never came till well afternoon. The hotel was cute with all the multi-colored buildings and being on the Marina was awesome. Although when we went to the beaches we were not allowed chairs since we were not staying at the beach hotels. So beach chairs were not avaible to us : ( . If your looking for something cheap and simple this is the hotel for you.
