The Westin Westminster Amenities
The hotel features an indoor lap pool and terrace, the “Sunset Deck,” which includes a spa tub, fireplace, lounge chairs, and mountain views. The fitness center, located next to the pool, offers cardio equipment, free weights, a sauna, and locker rooms with showers.

In addition to an array of convenient business services, guests have access to both high-speed wireless Internet and high-speed teleconferencing (fees charged). Meeting facilities include a 12,000-square-foot ballroom with a courtyard view; Lakeview Pavilion, whose deck overlooks Promenade Lake; and the Westminster Conference Center, offering 18 function rooms and 30,000 square feet of outdoor event space.

Pet owners appreciate the Heavenly Pet program, which provides everything from leashes to lounging mats. The Westin Kids Club is a family-friendly program that caters to infants as well as children through age 12, and includes provisions such as the Heavenly Crib.

The hotel also offers complimentary shuttle service to and from local destinations, including the FlatIrons Crossing Shopping District, Westminster Mall, and Interlocken business park.

Recreation
On its second level, the hotel features an indoor lap pool and the outdoor “Sunset Deck,” a terrace that includes a spa tub, fireplace, lounge chairs, and mountain views. The fitness center, located next to the pool, offers cardio equipment, free weights, a sauna, and locker rooms with showers. Massage therapy is available at the fitness center or in guestrooms.

The hotel is across the street from the Sun Microsystems Ice Centre, which features three arenas, and adjacent to the Westminster City Park, which includes a 45-mile system of running and biking trails, a recreation center with a track and climbing wall, and a soccer pitch where the Colorado Rapids Major League Soccer team practices.

Tee times are available at a number of area golf courses. Among them: Legacy Ridge, located less than two miles east of the hotel, and Heritage at Westmoor, located three miles northwest.

The recreational activities listed below are available either on site or near the hotel; fees may apply.

Features
What to expect: Located halfway between Denver and Boulder on the Boulder Turnpike, this 13-floor hotel appeals to vacationers and corporate travelers, especially those with work at the nearby Interlocken business park. The lavish lobby features leather sofas and chairs, Colorado-inspired original art, walls of windows with views of the mountains and Promenade Lake, and a 360-degree “kiva” fireplace.

Amenity highlights: Guests dine and drink at O’s or the Tap Room and Grill, read and relax in the library, or unwind in the spa tub on the terrace. Guests also enjoy access to the fitness room and indoor lap pool. Children are treated to a variety of services through the Westin Kids Club, and Pets are pampered with bedding and bowls. The hotel offers complimentary parking and shuttle service to local shopping destinations and Interlocken business park.

Insider tip: FlatIron Crossing, five miles west of the hotel, is no mere mall—it’s a 1.5-million-square-foot shopping, dining, and entertainment district featuring 200 indoor and outdoor shops, restaurants, and cafés. Shoppers should wear comfortable shoes and take advantage of the district’s free shuttle.

O’s - Named after the hotel owner—O’Byrne—the restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner and specializes in fare featuring Colorado Angus beef and seafood flown in daily. Hardwood floors, leather-accented chairs, oversized banquettes, and walls of windows overlooking Westminster Promenade Lake, create a casually hip atmosphere. The adjoining O Room bar includes an oyster bar and an extensive martini menu.

Tap Room and Grill - Cocktails and an all-day light menu are offered in this casual restaurant, which specializes in American fare.

Very nice accomodations. The workout room was very nice. Internet was very expensive and unavailable when we needed it.

The hotel was lovely, the people were friendly and the service was really wonderful. Everything was clean and readily available - the pool was nice, too. What I don't like is the Taco Bell Aztec design of the surrounding area - lots of oversized, overpriced, medicore stores and restaurants.

Friendly and well trained staff. Facility is rather new and in really good shape. Proximate to all the shopping you could ever want. Very good exercise equipment. Only problem was a couple with infants (in diapers) using the hot tub.

We travel to the Westin in Westminster to visit family, often. It is a beautiful hotel, very nice staff. This trip we found our room not to be cleaned up as well as usual...room service tray left in our room after being cleaned, ironing board left out and trash not emptied, all on seperate occasions. The hotel staff were sorry and sent someone immediately to pick up room service tray and also gave a voucher for breakfast. We will certainly go back, and oh the views on mountain side are breathtaking...

Very comfortable hotel. We stayed here for our family vacation and while it is used heavily as a convention spot, we were not troubled at all by the many people in and out of the hotel. It is a very well-kept, beautiful hotel in an easily accessible location. It is also within walking distance of several restaurants as well as a multi-plex movie theater.

Westin in Westminster is greatly located right next to the AMC24 with plenty of evening activities. It's a great way to enjoy an evening outing while still being close to Boulder for daily business. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the hotel's restaurant was of very good quality. Definitively, my top recommendation for anyone needing to stay near Boulder and Denver simultaneously.

The room was superb with every comfort of home. The staff did more then enough to make my short stay a pleasent one. Room service and the elegent restoraunt by the lobby was fantastic. The location is near several attractions and is very scenic. A pool, spa and fitness room, I couldn't ask for more. I highly recommend this hotel for business or just leisure.
