| This hotel might be overlooked by many because of of it's age, but you could not of asked for a staff more willing to please you, The service was top notch, and the people were very friendly. The rooms were spotless, and we enjoyed the fact that each room had it's own balcony with chairs and table, which turned out to be very nice for enjoying some of the local wines in the evening. There is also a small restaurant that had a small but very good menu. Would we stay there again...Yes!!!

| I booked this hotel after reading the reviews here. I saw no evidence of anything "Award Winning". This appears to be a circa early 1970s hotel that is in need of renovation. While it was adequate,it was far from being a 4 or 5 as so many have rated it. What kind of places have you been staying? I will stay elsewhere if I go back to Asheville.

| The hotel is old, but very well maintained. The rooms are clean, but are outdated. We had breakfast at their restaurant and I was a nice meal.

| The hotel was nice but a little out of date. The atmophere was pleasant, the people were really nice and the maid service was excellent. The only bad thing was the odor in the hallway smelled like wet dog for the first 2 days. It disapated after awhile.

| We stayed two nights in this hotel in order to see the Biltmore Estate. The hotel is two blocks from the entrance to the Estate and also to the charming Biltmore Village, with shops and restaurants. The staff was unfailingly helpful and friendly. The restaurant is OK (good breakfast) and the wait staff excellent. The room rates are extremely reasonable.
