| Set in splendid surroundings that reach down to the sea and overlook Portmarnock beach, this hotel is located just 15 minutes from the airport and 30 minutes from the Dublin city center. Originally owned by the Jameson family (famous for their Irish whiskey), this property has been tastefully converted to an international hotel which features a magnificent 18-hole Bernhard Langer-designed golf links. Take a stroll in the walled gardens, dine in style in a choice of two restaurants, or sample a range of cocktails, whiskeys and wines in the bars.

| We chose this hotel for our visit to Dublin given its location out of town, but not too far, and its proximity to the sea. The hotel itself was very clean, and the room was a perfect size for my family of 4 (my wife and I, and our 2 boys, ages 5 and 2). The hotel staff were very helpful with directions, attractions, and travel arrangements. We have no complaints! Make sure you get good driving directions or have a good map: getting to the hotel from the airport is easy, but can be a challenge if you arrive after dark and are looking for good road signs (they don't exist)!

| Hotel was outside of Dublin. It was a busy area but not as busy as the inner city. Convenient if you have a car. Rooms were nice and spacious unlike many in Dublin.
