| Great location for this hotel. Right across the street from the metro, walk to all the sights and in the middle of a modern shopping mecca. Took a short stroll to dinner in the Plaka every night. I would stay here again.

| My husband and I spent the first 2 nights of our honeymoon here. Was located right near the sygtama metro station on a street with no vehicle traffic. Near shopping, restaurants, and walking distance to all the sights. A great little local bakery is just around the corner too in case you sleep through breakfast like we did! The room was comfortable, clean, and quiet. And after spending two full weeks in greece in various accommodations, this was the best!

| Best location I could've asked for. Conveniently located next to the metro, Syntagma Square. Shopping, cafes, tavernas all numerously around the hotel.

| Fantastic location, close to shopping and restaurants, 20 minutes walking distance to the Acropolis. The staff was very courteous and helpful. The double room was clean and comfortable, with a nice view from the balcony. It was easy and fairly inexpensive to connect to the wireless high speed internet from the room and/or from the cafe in the lobby. The included breakfast buffet was excellent, with more food choices than I had expected, and fresh squeezed OJ. The only drawback was that the room was a little noisy, with noise from the street and adjoining rooms. Overall, the Electra met or exceded my expectations.

| Leaving the new Metro to discover we were a stone's throw away at Syntagma Square was terrific. It is a lovely, safe hotel - full of energy being in an upscale area of town. The staff was helpful with directions and information. The included breakfast each morning was a wonderful way to start the day. The rooms spacious and clean. Yes, we would stay there again and again!

| This hotel is in the perfect location for anyone who wants to see the sights in Athens. It's 1/2 a block off Syntagma Square and the Metro station. The neighborhood is quite nice, with lots of shops and several places to eat. You can also walk to the Plaka (10 minutes). Most of the historical sites (ie. Acropolis) are only one or two Metro stops away. The breakfast buffet at the hotel was very good, with fresh orange juice, several hot items, including eggs and meat, fruit and pastries. They did have a bar in the lobby, serving drinks and coffees. As a single woman traveler, I felt very safe at the Electra, and would highly recommend it. One caveat: I had a twin room (with a view of the wall of the hotel next door) and it was tiny. Think "dorm room" tiny. But, it was clean, as was the bathroom (also very tiny).

| WE had a great time at this hotel. It was located at the perfect location. 15-20 minute walk to the Acropolis, or 5 minutes by the Metro. Located real close to all the fun stuff, decent shopping. The food in the area was good. A little on the pricy side at times. Other than that the Hotel's breakfast was OK, nothing to write home about. The hotel's guest services are good. I would stay away from their ChatTours, they rushed us through our tours and we didn't really get a chance to explore the areas well...They just try to fit in a lot of stuff in a short period of time. I'm sure there are other tours that are better.

| My husband and I stayed 5 nights at the Electra to attend a conference and sightsee. The hotel room was clean, but extremely small (and we had a triple). The bathroom was so small we had to climb on the toilet to close the bathroom door or get in the shower. We could see in other rooms while housekeeping was cleaning them and there appears to be a great variance in room size. One of my colleagues had a double room and it was the size of a standard American hotel room, as was the bath. Lesson learned...check out the room before accepting it. The staff was generally pleasant. Depending on who was working the front desk, you may or may not get assistance with a request. The location of the hotel is fabulous - right in the plaka.
