| Service at most hotels in Mexico is great, but this was a step above. The rooms were incredible: spacious inside and on patio, the two person hot tub was a great touch that puts them in a class above others, nice large shower, liquor dispenser and fully stocked fridge were fun and the view was truly incredible. All rooms have some type of view of the ocean, but some better than others. The lagoon was nice, the swimup bars are the a great time and the service around the pools is great. Restaurants were all very nice. Only one small feature that is lacking is the beach front access. I knew ahead of time, but there is no sandy beach front. It is a rocky ocean front with no soft sand for walking and swimming, which is not something that I thought I would care about until not having it. Although the lagoon area had sand and lounge chairs with little palapas that was a nice substitute. Oh yeah, almost forgot about one of my favorite features: NO KIDS! Very good place for a stress free, romantic, adult type atmophere. Overall, this hotel gets a 9.9 out of 10 points. I will be going back as soon as possible and will be staying for longer.

| We were absolutely impressed with the quality of the hospitality and service in the hotel. The meals at all the restaurants were excellent and the servers were friendly and helpful. The staff is actually interested in interacting with the guests and helping out in any way they can, you will truly feel pampered. The timeshare salespitch was ok, up until the very end when they wanted to really persuade you into buying into it. I believe that was the only uncomfortable part of the experience, but too minute to really make a difference. Also, the idea of the timeshare presentation can be tedious, but this one not that bad, because they are unconventional in their approach, at the end of it-- even if you decide not to buy-- you get gift certificates which can be redeemed at the spa or local attractions. Definitely worth it. We were ambushed by some bogus agency claiming to be part of the hotel as we arrived and they got money from us at the airport, the hotel graciously reimbursed us for it after we presented them with the fake voucher given to us. The Spa was divine, you must try at least one service! Everyone at Aventura Spa Palace will treat you like royalty, I think if they'd carry you if you'd just ask...

| This was a great place to relax and get away from every day life. If you want to take your spouse to an upscale resort this is the place to go. There are no kids, you are waited on hand and foot and the facilities are outstanding. I would take this vacation every other week if I could.

| Very nice hotel. People are extremely nice. The room felt a little too cold and it made our camcorder not work when we wanted because it got so cold the moisture from the air condensed in it. We got T-shirts, wine, fruit, and a romantic dinner because it was our honeymoon. Being an adults only resort does make a difference.

| We stayed here from June 25 to 30 for our honeymoon. The place was amazing. We didn't have nearly enough time there! We had great service the entire time, as soon as we pulled up and got off of our van there was an employee there asking us what we wanted to drink. Our room was gorgeous and the food was really good every night. We stayed on the "Aventura" side, which I recommend because it seems like that's where everything was happening. I guess if you like it really quiet, the spa side would be for you. The staff was great - there was always somebody saying "hola" or asking you if you needed anything. They spoke English really well, but heavily accented, which threw my husband off sometimes! Everything in our room (3119) was impeccably clean, and we had gorgeous towel sculptures in our room after it was cleaned every day. We ate fruit, brushed our teeth with the tap water, and never got sick to our stomachs from it. No matter what age range or walk of life you are, you can find people to talk to at this resort. Age range went from 20's to 60's or over, and there were honeymooners, vacationers, convention-goers, people celibrating their anniversary, etc. The hotel is HUGE, so getting from one side to another could take some time. There's a lobby shuttle to eliminate the walking between the two lobbies (North and South. This place was fantastic and my husband and I are already looking at going back!

| The food was excellent especially for being an all inclusive resort. The hotel staff was very friendly and would always lend a helping hand if needed. If your a beach person and want to stay in your resort then I dont recommend the Adventura. Playa De Carmen is just about 15 minutes away and it offers plenty of shopping and nice beaches.
