| We got to the room, and find the floor soaked - dunno if it was a leaky window or the A/C, so I called the front desk. We'd registered for a non-smoking room and they had no more, so we either had to choose a smoker's room or stay in that room. After having my bedspread replaced (it was near the window and was damp from being close to the wet floor) i noticed old cig butts in the window sill - so much for being a non-smoking room. Room was overpriced for what we got - my brother, who travels frequently, told me we were overcharged for what we got. The blankets (under the bedspread) appeared to be 10+ years old, they were so worn out. Seeing it ranked a one and a half star hotel surprised me - I'd take that half star away and just give it one.

| The only negative bit we had about this hotel was limited parking, and the fact that it's right on an intersection, sometimes making traffic interesting, but the noise from the road (and nearby O'Hare) was minimal and we enjoyed our stay quite a bit. The ladies behind the desk were very friendly and very helpful when we asked for directions around Chicago and gave us several good maps. Three or four miles up the street is a train station that will take you directly into the Chicago, where you can also transfer to several other trains to get around. It takes a little time, but it's convenient and MUCH better than driving downtown ($3 for 18 hours of parking at the train station!) The room wasn't spectacular.. basic coffee, not great lighting, and was decently clean, but we only used it for an overnight stay and found it to be everything we needed for our purposes.

| We stayed here for one night pre-convention at the Stephens Convention Center. It was clean, the staff was helpful and the price reasonable. We'd stay here again.

| I wasn't expecting any amenities in this hotel, so I wasn't really surprised when there weren't any. But it was one of the noisiest places I've every been in my life. Traffic noises from River Road and airplanes from O'Hare flying over kept waking me up. Also, the heat in the room was very hard to control. The other people in our party couldn't adjust theirs at ALL and nearly cooked. It was clean, but that's about all.
