Features
What to expect: The intimate rooms in this 1927 hotel attract couples on getaways from nearby Los Angeles and San Diego, as well as travelers from afar seeking distinctive lodging near the beach. The property retains much of its early-20th-century decor: etched glass, elaborate carved-wood moldings and banisters, and period desks and vanities. There's a tile floor, fireplace, comfortable couches, and antique tables. The ocean is steps from the front door, as are numerous shopping and dining options. Amenity highlights: The hotel offers complimentary Continental breakfast daily and complimentary beach towels and chairs for guests. A rooftop deck with tables, chairs, and heat lamps serves as a space for morning coffee, afternoon reading, and late-night drinks. Insider tip: This hotel's small, eclectic atmosphere is a popular draw for collectors of arts and crafts. Guests visit Laguna Beach for its broad assortment of independently run galleries and boutiques along Forest and Ocean Avenues.
A complimentary Continental breakfast is provided each morning. Savoury's - This bistro off the lobby serves an eclectic mix of Mediterranean and Pacific-rim dishes for dinner only. The eastern wall of the restaurant opens for al fresco dining next to the sidewalk. The restaurant's menu changes seasonally, based upon locally available ingredients.

| Laguna Beach is outstanding and the hotel is charming. The location in Laguna is not central, but with a local trolley that takes visitors up and down the Pacific Highway for free it's no problem at all to go anywhere. Not all rooms are air conditioned which, given the weather, is usually not a problem. Still, the first room we got was streetside and not air conditioned and keeping the windows open all night with the traffic was not an option. However, the staff was very friendly and accomodating and switched us to another room that was air conditioned and also caught the Pacific breeze. We were told they are adding AC to all the rooms.

| Hotel location is excellent, a mile walk into town with good shops and restaurants. The room was small, there wasn't room for a chair. The parking lot has small spaces, rent a car accordingly. Front desk staff was courteous. Location and old California charm in the lobby are the main plusses.

| My sister and I stayed here for 7 nights total. The room was on the small side but was furnished with antiques and very understated. The view of the Pacific Ocean was magnificent. The front desk was awesome and helped us plan what to do and gave very helpful hints. Rooftop bar gets kind of loud on weekends but would definantly stay there again!

| My wife, brother, his fiance and myself just got back from a trip to Laguna Beach. We stayed at La Casa Del Camino. We found it to be a nice older hotel with a good location in Laguna. The front desk staff was nice and friendly and the rooftop lounge has great views. Our room was an Ocean View room and you could still hear a substantial amount of traffic on the PCH which is directly in front of the hotel. In addition our room was backed by an alley. At 7:00 in the morning a street sweeper went through followed by a trash truck. Needless to say there was not anymore sleeping after that. If I go back to Laguna Beach I would consider staying elsewhere since this place didn't blow me away.

| We were pleasantly surprised at the affordability and luxury of this hotel. The only downside was that our room had windows facing a wall and other guests' windows, so we enjoyed the sun and mist of the coast on the roof!!!
