| I must say the best thing this hotel has is its location. It's within walking distance from the main attractions in Savannah's historic district. The hotel staff is very attentive. The rooms where not very clean when we arrived: we found a hair scrungie and tweezers from another guest, as well as a piece of chocolate on the floor. The bathroom wasn't very clean either. But we had to take in consideration that we were traveling with our dog and this hotel gave us no hassle with that.

| The price was not reflective of the condition of the room. The bathtub was pealing. There was tape on the inside of the entry door covering a hole from days gone-by. The coke machine was not working in the corridor outside and there was no cold water in the machine also. I was told there was a store nearby where I could purchase water or sodas. The employees did not know the area around the hotel, but they did their best by giving us a map and phone number to the nearest transit. We wanted to see the city, and were told told there was a trolly, but no one knew where it started or ended, or if it was near the hotel. Anyway, a former employee of the hotel walked us two blocks and pointed out the transit, and also some very good resturants. The hotels nearby were much better maintained and left me wishing I had not booked on the internet. All in all Savannah is still a very beautiful city and I would go there again, but not to the same hotel.

| I thought this was a great hotel for the price and location. It is within walking distance to the entire historic district which is good if you don't want to drive. The beds were also very comfortable.

| Very convenient to Historic Savannah and the River Walk. Hotel could use some updating. Room was clean and staff very helpful. Housekeeping checked with me as soon as I got to my room to make sure everything was okay.

| Reasonable rates for being right in the middle of everything. We didn't have to drive anywhere, which is a big plus.

| We were pleased with most everything that this hotel had to offer. The housekeeping staff was a little lack in cleaning our room and providing necessities such as towels and toilet tissue. The head of maintenance was most helpful when he asked if there was anything he could do to make our stay more enjoyable, and took our complaints about the housekeeping to the proper authority

| Hairdryer didn't work. Curtains were a couple inches too short for the window. Air conditioner made horrible noise. Pool was not conveniently located. Electrical sub-station behind hotel not very attractive. Certainly just a place to lay your head.

| When we checked into the hotel we were told that our second car could not be parked on the property and we had to find someplace else to park or the car would be towed. We had come to the hotel from different cities and this was the reason for an additional car. Next we asked for extra towels on four different times and never received the towels. The breakfast was great on Saturday, however on Sunday there was no one there to ask for help and I had to go out into the lobby. It appeared that they just put out what was left from the day before. Overall the stay was enjoyable and I would stay there again.
