| I went with my wife and 2 childremn ages 7 & 9 we all had a great time. We only ate breakfast at the hotel. Prices are good what you would expect to pay in the US. We walked to dinner every night many hotels in area with great food. Only used the rental car to go sight seeing other wise had I knowen I may have just used a cab. The beach is Awesome it was not crowded it was clean hotel staff set up chairs every morning for us and provided towels. They cleaned the room twice a day in the morning and a quick clean up in the PM when they did the turn down service. The hotel is closing for about 18 months to under go some major construction. Adding rooms and pools. I hope it does not change too much.

| My husband and I stayed here in September for our homeymoon. We loved it here. The staff was very nice and helpful. Our room was beautiful with an awesome view. We loved smaller, relaxed feeling of the hotel and casino. We also loved that the bigger resorts were a short walk away if we wanted a change of pace, or wanted other dining options. We are planning a trip back, and will stay here again.

| The Aruba Grand is the smallest hotel on the strip but the quality of service is big time. The pace of life in Aruba is slower than most Americans are accustomed to so some may be put off on the time it takes to get food to the table but I thought the food was good and the wait staff were extremely nice. Also the beach is amazing and not as crowded as the bigger hotels.

| This hotel is centered between several large hotels on palm beach and is smaller but quiet. This allows you to eat and gamble at several hotels but step back from the "mall effect" to your guiet hotel. I have stayed here many times and I like it.

| This is an average hotel. It is has easy access to the beach. You could also walk along the beach near other hotels. Like many other hotels, it has a casino. But the rooms smell musky. I do not know what it is, but the only way to kill the horrible stench a little is to turn the AC all the way up, and freeze. Even the hallway smells like a damp basement. I read a similar review from another traveler from Expedia before I went, but never thought it would have been that bad. One more interesting tidbit, I was amazed to see how many lizards and iguanas were walking around freely. I was told that they remove about 200 of them every few weeks around the grounds of the hotel, but unfortunately they reproduce in large numbers so they are back to square 1 again. It may be uncomfortable to some, especially when in the restaurant, a 2 feet lizard walks up to your feet. The locals do not seem to think it a big deal, but I kept my foot up the whole time.

| We just returned from the Aruba Grand 9/17/05. We were extremely pleased with the Staff and Food at this hotel. We were on the all inclusive program and I have been at other hotels in Aruba with their all inclusive plan and the food left alot to be desired. We thought the food was so good we never even left the hotel to eat out. I especially liked not having buffets. Ordering off the menu you alway get your food prepared fresh. The staff was exceptional. They couldn't have made our stay any nicer. They could use alittle spruce up of the grounds. But otherwise it was a great time.

| Total Relaxation with plenty to do. The staff was there for us only when we needed them. Very pleasant and helpful without being intrusive. The room was clean. It didn't have the glitz of the larger chain hotels but it was well worth the price.
