Features
What to expect: With a lobby that feels like a large and well-decorated suburban living room, the Hilton Garden Inn Franklin Square offers a quiet, homey refuge that contrasts with the bustle of its central downtown location. Business and leisure travelers alike enjoy the hotel’s calming atmosphere. Amenity highlights: Guestrooms are designed for comfort, and bathrooms are well-lighted. The hotel’s indoor pool is a welcome addition to the usual fitness facilities. A 24-hour pantry in the lobby stocks snacks and sundries. And guests can feel secure with 24-hour security services and safety deposit boxes available for valuables. Insider tip: One block north of the Hilton Garden Inn Franklin Square is K Street, synonymous in Washington with high-priced law firms and powerful lobbyists. Visitors can glimpse this world by dining at one of the upscale steakhouses on and around K Street, sipping martinis and feasting on aged prime beef and shrimp cocktail. Be sure to dress for the occasion—jackets and ties for gentlemen—and try to be discreet when eavesdropping on the conversation between the lobbyist and senator at the next table.
Great American Grill - American favorites are served for breakfast, lunch, and dinner in a brightly lit, cheery dining room. There are daily buffets for breakfast and lunch as well as à la carte selections. Pavilion Lounge - Guests enjoy cocktails in a warm, relaxing space with a fireplace.

| If you don't feel like walking, with a subway station directly across the street from the hotel entrance, it's an easy trip to anywhere in town (and back). The room was clean and comfortable, and the service was very helpful and friendly. For the price, it's all you need for a comfortable and convenient stay.

| My wife and I stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn for a quick weekend getaway. Great location just across the street from the metro. Hotel was clean and the staff was extremely helpful. Try to book an interior room because walls are thin but not so much as to lose sleep over. After a day of site seeing you will be so tried the the street noise will not bother you at all.

| We stayed at this hotel over Labor Day weekend and were very pleased. We chose it for the location as it is directly across the street from a Metro stop and were not expecting a great hotel. We were very pleased with all aspects of our stay from the helpfulness of the entire staff, to the hotel restaurant was not four star restaurant but was certainly acceptable for a quick meal, to the cleanliness of the hotel. I would certainly stay there the next time I went to Washington

| The Hotel was just as good as you'd expect. It is a unit of the Hilton chain and with this I told you everything. USA Today at your door every morning (except weekend), very helpful staff, elevators, cookies at the reception, free Internet in the room...everything is reflecting the qiute high profile. You will be satisfied!

| This hotel had everything we needed-walking distance to the museums, a short drive away from the monuments, a pool for me which was open until 10 pm, a 24-hour exercise room with current magazines and newspaper, working air conditionning during a heat wave, very accommodating maid and valet service. When I read that there was a daily valet parking fee, I was surprised, but read other reviews and learned that is the norm. The rate was comparable, and we found out that it was well worth it because the parking is difficult otherwise. We ate at the restaurant one night and the chicken & pasta was very good and reasonably priced. The freshly baked cookies were a nice treat each evening. (Get one early!) The room was clean, the bathroom cleaner. We'll definitely stay here again.

| The McPherson Sq metro (orange and blue line) is literally right across the street. Of course you can't walk straight across the street to it unless you don't mind a jay walking ticket, but its only a few extra strides to go to either crosswalk. Several restuarants are right there on 14th street. Don't expect a great view from your room but ours was very clean. The valet parking's in and out priveledges was not cumbersome at all but the drivers were hard to understand. Check in and check out was very smooth and easy. We only stayed one night and were only interested in a good location, clean bathrooms, and comfy beds. We were quite satisfied.
