Drury Inn and Suites New Orleans Amenities
The 10-floor Drury Inn and Suites features a rooftop pool and spa with a view of the city, a fitness room, and free buffet breakfast every day. Complimentary beverages and snacks also are served each evening.

The hotel occupies the historic Cumberland Phone Building, which opened to much acclaim in 1917. Drury Inns, Inc. acquired the building in 1997 and restored the elaborate terra cotta detailing on the façade. Through careful renovation, the lobby and front desk areas of imported marble utilize many features of the original building, including high ceilings, large windows, and an ornamental staircase. Waterford crystal chandeliers illuminate the public areas.

Self parking:
$15 per 24-hour period. In/out privileges. Secured parking.
Fee does not include tax and is subject to change without prior notification.

Recreation
The recreational activities listed below are available either on site or near the hotel; fees may apply.

Features

What to expect: Opened in June 2000, the Drury caters to business travelers with appointments downtown, and to leisure guests who appreciate the half-mile proximity to the Superdome, New Orleans Arena, and French Quarter. The lobby has the feel of a private club, with a fireplace, cushy couches, and a player grand piano. Complimentary beverages and snacks are served each evening.

Amenity highlights: The nearly century-old building features a distinctive rooftop pool and spa, an unusual feature in New Orleans. Complimentary snacks and beverages are provided each evening.

Insider tip: One of the city's best Japanese restaurants, Horinoya, specializing in Kobe beef, is 3 blocks away. The city hosts free concerts in tree-shaded Lafayette Park, just 1 block from the hotel.

Guests of the hotel enjoy a complimentary buffet breakfast each morning in the lobby. Complimentary beverages and snacks also are served each evening.

It was a great hotel. Very clean. Beautiful. Convenient. On-site parking. The free hot breakfast was good. I have already recommended the hotel to friends and co-workers.

Came to N.O. for convention. The hotel was close to most attractions and restaurants. The area around hotel was in good condition and appeared to be moving in right direction after hurricane. Rooftop pool slightly small, but good view. The breakfast was great and so was the evening popcorn and drinks. Would stay here again.

Its neighboorhood is not built back up yet, so it is a several block walk to everything. Hotel is nice - no problems at all. Snacks in the afternoon were a nice touch.

I think it was a very nice hotel to stay in. We liked the snacks they gave you. I didn't like the card to use elevator etc. But my wife did. We didn't like paying parking. But that's N.O.

Hotel looked great. Some features were missed though-like a gift shop. The room looked great but for a non-smoking room, it smelled like it had been a smoking room in the past and smelled a bit mildewy. Overall, it was a good stay. The popcorn was a great treat and the breakfast was excellent. It was also nice not to have to pay for parking. Pool was excellent.

The location is good, it's easy to get to the Quarter and Convention area. The hotel is very clean and has been updated. The free breakfast is weak but it's something. Snacks in the afternoon are cool.

We were pleasantly surprised by the comfort and services of this hotel. We weren't sure what we would find in New Orleans. There is a nice, very small, pool on the rooftop with a hot tub. Functional free breakfast in the morning and complimentary drinks and snacks at the happy hour in the afternoon. The room was a little cramped and there was no in-room movies. The location was good for our family because we were away from canal, bourbon and the party life. No little store nearby however to run and quickly grab a snack or necessity.
