| The staff was extremely helpful in getting me checked in/out. Only a couple of small issues - the in-room alarm clock went off in the middle of the night (obviously not the hotel's fault) and the smoke alarm needed a new battery (did not start to beep until I was getting ready to check out). Overall, I would recommend this Comfort Inn to anyone staying in North Phoenix.

| The hotel is located in a very accessible area and very reasonably priced, the rooms smelled of previous cigarette smokers. The leaf blowers going off at a very early hour was also annoying, but all in all I would stay there again due to the rates.

| We all know when we book with a hotel on this level we're not getting a star rated property. Comfort Inn provided a clean room on a dated property (built in 80's) but that's OK. It's not that you don't expect it. Our room had a leak in the pipes the last night and we had to go back to Expedia for credit, but it finally worked out. At Comfort you get some comfort, but not luxury, but that's OK.

| Towels were gray that should have been white. Room was like an oven upon arrival and took quite a while to cool. Mat glued to bottom of tub was mixing a large chunk and corner stuck up. Large gap of 3/4 to 1 inch under door as well as numerous knicks down side of door as if someone had tried to break in previously. "Breakfast" if you want to call it that was worthless. One fruit choice - an apple. One juice choice - cranberry. Scrambled eggs that were swimming - no meat sides. No pastries, just waffles, bread items, and cereal. Counter was covered with cereal that hadn't been cleaned up, and was still there when we left. Vending machine was way over priced at $1.75 for a small bottle of water that would have cost about .35 in the grocery.

| Furnishings and facility showing some age, but generally well maintained and very clean. Staff friendly and helpful. Complimentary breakfast a little better than most, with a couple of hot options as well as usual "contintental" items.

| Shabby rooms, torn box spring, torn sheet, torn bed spread. First room TV poor color, one room had wastepaper basket unemptied and trash on floor. One day had to go to desk to get towels.
