| Spent 2 nights here. One night before a trip to Cape Tribulation and then 3 days later when we came back. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They stored some of our luggage while we went on the Cape Tribulation tour. The only negative is that there were no beaches within walking distance of the Hotel. Not the Hotels fault. Its still a beautiful area and the price was good. Just dont expect to walk in the surf.

| Obviously once the cream of the hotels at the Cairns Esplanade, it has been overtaken by the newer construction in the area, but nonetheless has great views, comfortable if slightly dated rooms, and all the conveniences you might need. All-in-all, I highly recommend this hotel as it is very comfortable, offers high value for the money, and the staff were very helpful, even surprising us with champagne for our first night of our honeymoon.

| I stayed in a delux room with ocean and mountain views. These rooms are located on the corner of the building and have great views with big sliding glass doors and windows and a hugh balcony. The room was very big and had all the amenities you would need. It is hard to think of anything bad to say. If pressed to say anything bad was it was a little noisey from street traffic in early evening but that was because of the huge windows. A fair trade off in my opinion. For the price I can't think of a better location in downtown cairns.
