| Tucked away just off from the beach is a real little gem. I grew up in Naples and NEVER knew this place existed. The hotel reminds you of a small 5 star hotel in Spain. Worth every penny!

| Hotel Escalante is converting most of the hotel to Condos. They will cost $2.6M each. This hotel is beautiful. It's a quiet oasis that one would never know is there and only 1.5 blocks from Naples Beach. We've stayed there for the past 3 years and are very disappointed it may not be there next year. There are supposed to be 10 hotel rooms after the rest are converted to condos but will be very expensive and limited in quantity. The pool is just beautiful. It's a quiet, tropical nirvana, with the spa attached to it. Perfect for leaving the stresses of life and basking in the tropical sun.

| The room was comfortable, large bed, nice linens, lots of pillows, but small and not very clean. I loved the shower head, but hot water was iffy. My biggest complaint was the surly front desk staff, who upon our arrival sent me back out to the car for a hard copy of my expedia reservation and made no attempt at all to make us welcome or describe hotel services, room location, etc. Parking was also difficult. They have a valet but we called for the car, waited fifteen minutes, checked at the desk, were handed the keys and told to go find it which we couldn't. All this for an extra fifteen dollars a day. Our room was never made up before 4, yet when we requested a late check-out on a Wednesday we were denied unless we wanted to pay for an extra half day.

| At checkout, they presented me with a bill for the rooms and I had to remind them that the rooms were prepaid. They checked their records and then cancelled out the bill. The place is beautiful and the landscaping is exceptional. Also a great location.
