| The room we got was filthy and the air conditioner didn't work. The floor was sticky. One spot under the table had jam on it! We got in late, exhausted, so we didn't complain until the next day. We were moved to a room that was much cleaner, but still a "two socker" (have to wear 2 pair of socks in the room), and the AC didn't work in there, either. When I complained again, the girl I talked to rolled her eyes and said that she would get someone up there to fix it rather than moving us "from room to room." The fix-it-man came. We left for the day, and when we came back, the AC still didn't work. I had to call again, talked to the same girl, who seemed put out that I was calling again. Finally, we got the AC fixed. That night, I called the restaurant to see if we could get some utensils---we were going to eat in our room. The restaurant was closed, and I was transfered to the front desk. All I got was short, unhelpful answers to my questions. "The restaurant is closed.", "No, I don't have a key to the restaurant.", "No, I can't get into the breakfast area.""My manager gets back in an hour." She was so rude! I can see her hands were tied, but that's no reason to be so mean! An apology, "no, I"m so sorry but I can't do that..." She sounded angry that I was bothering her. I don't need that on a vacation.

| I've stayed at this hotel a number of times on business - this time it was leisure. You can't beat it for price and the staff are friendly. The kids loved the indoor pool and hot tub. The rooms are a bit past their best though and the bar (the somewhat bizarrely cave themed "Bedrocks") is almost always closed when I stay at the hotel.

| The hotel was clean and pleasant. The facility was dated and in need of refreshing, but the room was very nice, clean, and updated. My main concern was that it was not secure. For example anyone could access the outdoor pool area, which led into the rear of the hotel. The exterior entryways that supposedly required key access were open instead. I recommend this hotel but suggest that a solo traveler request a room close to the front/lobby.

| The hotel is in decent condition. It probably dates from the 1960's. The room was clean and the ventilation was effective. Some parts of the hotel seem somewhat worn and could stand updating. Not far from downtown Ann Arbor and seems to be popular with parents and visitors to the University of Michigan.

| This place was OK. I had trouble getting the room cooled down in the evening - it got stuffy in the night. Each room had Wi-Fi internet access, which did not help me as my laptop was not set up for same. The cards in the room said you could get a converter from the front desk, but when I called to ask for that they said they no longer offer them - that was disappointing. On the plus side, the continental breakfast was very good, with a wide variety of items available. Location was convenient, as it was right off I-94 and there were quite a few restaurants nearby.

| got to the hotel after a 28 hour marathon drive, needing a shower and to change clothes before business meeting, hotel staff checked us in even though it was way before check-in time. Pulled up our reservation and got the keys in no time. Nice to get greeat servioce with a smile. Room was great, the pools were a nice addition to our stay.

| My wife and two kids were with me on this trip so I didn't want a room too simple. This place has many extras (pool, exercise room, free WIFI, pool tables, etc.) that made it a pleasant stay. The staff was very helpful with finding a restaurant, doctor, and other services. Thanks for a nice stay.

| I took my little sister to stay there for the night. I was a little nervous just the two of us in a big city where we didn't know anyone or anything. The friendly staff was amazingly helpful! The rooms were safe, clean and absolutely better than I hoped! I was not a fan of the hotel restaurant, but otherwise, PERFECT!
