| My room was small, but it was clean, and had a tv, a phone, a safe, air conditioning, a decent bathroom, and a hairdryer. A breakfast buffet was included in the hotel price, the workers were friendly and spoke english, and it was only a few blocks from the Trevi Fountain. Considering the location, I got a lot for what I paid.

| We had two rooms and they were small. There was absolutely no decorations anywhere. There was only one electrical outlet and it was next to the bed, so if you have something like a curling iron, you can't use it with the bathroom mirror. The front desk wouldn't change money (I don't mean dollars to euros, I mean breaking a large bill). I wanted to use the internet in the lobby for 3 euros for 30 minutes. I gave them 10 euros, but they wouldn't take it because they didn't have money at night. It was 9:30. The telephone system is primative. The hotel is in a good location. It's near a metro station, several bus routes, two blocks from the Via Venato, and about three blocks from the Trevi Fountain. Lots of good restaurants nearby.

| Anglo American is what it is, a 2 star hotel in Rome. The price was the attraction , the beds very firm - and it does need a coat of paint but is an adequate hotel. Its location is great, very close to the Metro, and some great eateries. They do not put the air con on until 1 June so hotels in Italy can get hot before then!

| The only good thing that I can say about this hotel is the location. It's ideally situated in the center of the city and everything is about a 15 minute walk. They say they have air conditioning but we had constant heat in our room and they said they could do nothing to fix it the week I stayed there. We had to sleep with the windows open on a very busy street. The rooms were very dingy and the beds very uncomfortable. I've stayed in many european hotels and am used to a variety of situations, but this was not what I expected.

| What the hotel lacks in amenities and charm, it makes up for in location. Our room reminded me of a very old college dorm with four twin beds in a row. If you're looking for a place to sleep for a reasonable price in a great location, this is it. If you like things like nice bathrooms and other frills, find another spot.

| This hotel has a great location to be able to walk to all the sites of Rome. The accomidations are minimal, but can be expected with the price you pay. Great value if you do not expect comfort.

| Exactly what I had expected - perfect location from which to see the major sites. Lots of wonderful restaurants, cafes, and shops right around the area. The hotel rooms are basic, but clean. The staff speaks excellent English and is very helpful. This is great, a convenient and clean place to sleep in the middle of a wonderful city.
