| Hotel was built in 1909. The main building is built with the classical comfort of meiju-era architectural style. The new building(wing) is built with "yoshino-style". An architectural style that is unique in this area. Hotel is located on the hill within the well known tourist attraction Nara Park. Which is famous for its wildlife deer. Hotel is also within walking distance to many tourist attractions such as Jodaiji Temple and Kofuku Temple Pagoda. With over 90 years of history, hotel is designed to look traditionally Japanese, but the service and facilities provided are of international class standard. Features and Services: Guest rooms are spacious with high ceiling and overlook the park surrounding the hotel. The hotel main dining room - Mikasa-No-Ma offers traditional French dishes Hotel also has a recreational vehicle parking area.

| My wife and I stayed at the Nara Hotel for one week while attending a conference in Nara. The hotel is extremely nice and I highly recommend it. We stayed in the older section. The only things that could have been nicer were having larger and softer beds (we had two single beds in our room). If you are a coffee addict like me, take your own for those mornings when you wake up early from jet-lag. The hotel doesn't serve coffee until 7 AM.
