| We arrived at 4:30 and our room was not ready for another hour plus. We were generally ignored during this period. The place seemed unorganized. It is an older hotel and feels like it.

| The Lord Nelson is across the street from wonderful botanical gardens. And an easy walk to the Halifax Harbour. The Hotel has a lot of polished brass and marble. Good value.
