| We chose this hotel because of its location in the wooded hills just outside the city. This appears to be its only advantage. There was heavy smell both in the corridor and in the room, we had to keep windows opened (even though it was snowing outside). Bathroom was in a bad need of renovation, with black mould on the walls and shower head falling apart as soon as you touch it. Staff was helpful and friendly, sometimes too "friendly": they entered the room twice without knocking, pretending they did not know that the room was occupied. We had to permanently display "Please do not disturb" to prevent this. Buffet breakfast was plentiful and good quality, except that only canned fruits were served as if it was a remote polar station rather than a 3 star hotel in a capital city. The hotel probably uses an alternative technology to disinfect water in the swimming pool: as soon as water gets into your mouth, you have a persisting very bitter taste and a feeling that teeth are covered with a layer of plastic. Changing rooms in the fitness centre / swimming pool have either a lock or a bench, but you cannot have both at the same time. Overall, we wonder how this hotel managed to get 3 stars. Four stars they ascribe to themselves are simply ridiculous.
