| Great location near Pitt and Carnegie Mellon Universities. Only negative is they charge extra for parking.

| Looking for a moderately priced hotel in Pittsburgh on a business trip, I chose this Expedia listing, which is just outside the university district on one of the city's high points. In sum, it was entirely OK, not great, not bad, OK. I'd stay there again. Room was clean and functional; they provided a nice breakfast and evening appetizers (no bar or restaurant). Personnel were helpful. What's awkward is the double elevator you have to take to get from the entrance lobby to the main lobby where you check in and thence to your room. There is a garage under/beside the hotel that connects with the lower elevator, so once checked in and parked even on an upper parking level, you still have to do that double elevator bit.
