| Overall the hotel was great! The location was great and the staff was extremely polite and helpful. It was during Memorial Day weekend, so they were filled to capacity, yet they provided quality service. The restaurant located in the hotel was very reasonable, with great service and great food.

| Great price, very large room, nice year-round pool. Room was musty on arrival, fortunately we could leave windows open this nice spring weekend.

| Iwo Jima was an economical motel for our family of four's stay in DC. The motel was a bit outdated, but overall was in good condition. Staff at the front desk were very helpful. We chose this motel because it was close to a Metro station (about a 10 minute walk). There are other motels closer, but they may be a bit pricier. This motel also advertised an indoor swimming pool, a definite plus after a long day of site-seeing, however the water was only 80 degrees, which was too cold for our family to enjoy. There is not a hot tub. The restaurant on the premises, Ledo's, has great food, and is reasonably priced, but service is slow. There is also a Safeway a few blocks away, so you can pick up some convenience type food to keep in your room; no frig though. The Metro was our only means of transportation, and we felt very safe in the neighborhood walking at night.

| The staff were all extremely helpful and friendly. But some units are in better condition than others. At first we were put in the building up against the hill. There was no bathroom ventilation and the heater wasn't working. They moved us into a newer room in the building that houses the lobby; the room was in great shape though it had more noise. Cute (staffed) little indoor pool, and a lot of nearby amenities for the price.

| The hotel was in a convenient location near D.C. and the Metrorail at the Rosyln station. The price at this hotel was much better than anything I could find in D.C., so if price is a factor, this is a good option. The hotel was somewhat old, with old furniture and feel, but maintained well and clean. The neighborhood seemed safe and we felt comfortable walking from the hotel to the Metro and back. My biggest complaint was that the ice machine was in the hallway and not in a small room off the hallway. We could here people getting ice until all hours of the night. They had free coffee and at times, apples too. There is a restaurant, but we did not try it out. Overall, I would have preferred something newer, but not a bad place and a good value.

| The hotel was convenient to Metro and a quick trip to DC. Although busy in the evenings, things quieted down at bedtime. Not fancy, but a good place to spend the night for a business trip.

| We decided to stay at the Quality Inn because it was close to the Marine Corps Marathon. Of course the prices were jacked up, but that was expected. We requested a crib in the room when we made the reservation since have a 6 month old we wanted to take with us. When we checked in at 4 p.m. we asked if the crib was in the room. They said no, but they would get it to us. Long story short and 3 requests later, they brought us a crib FRAME at 9 p.m. They said they didn't know where the mattress was or the bottom part of the frame was that belonged to the crib. To 'help' us, they gave us extra blankets to put on the floor for our baby to sleep on! Ha! They said they only had that one crib for the entire hotel. I asked if they could call another hotel to borrow one, but they said they couldn't. We would have brought our travel bed from home if we knew there would be an issue. On top of ALL of these problems, our room had no air - was only blowing hot air. I would not recommend this hotel.
