Hotel Bora Bora Amenities
Set beside a turquoise lagoon just south of Mount Otemanu, this resort consists of a thatched-roof main building and 54 bungalows and farés (Tahitian-style homes) linked by walkways of black lava rock. Bungalows are located beside the beach or over the water, while the larger farés are on the beach or in the hotel gardens. All accommodations feature Tasmanian oak floors, walls of red cedar, and furnishings of rattan and bamboo. In addition to a restaurant and beach bar, the hotel offers weekly barbecues with Polynesian cultural entertainment, black-pearl jewelry showroom, and lounge/activity center with a TV/DVD player, book exchange, and selection of games. Three white-sand beaches and the adjacent barrier reef provide a scenic setting for swimming, snorkeling, scuba diving, and fishing and sailing excursions on the hotel’s 15-meter catamaran. Round-trip transportation by boat between Bora Bora Airport and the hotel is included.

Recreation
Set at the tip of a peninsula, the resort is set amid three white-sand beaches and a barrier reef. Guests can swim, snorkel, and scuba dive on-site or opt for half- and full-day fishing and sailing excursions on the hotel’s 15-meter catamaran (surcharges may apply). Jet skiing, beach picnics, and “aqua safaris,” in which guests walk along the seafloor wearing special, oxygen-fed helmets, can also be arranged. A basketball court, volleyball court, and two tennis courts are on-site. The recreational activities listed below are available either on site or near the hotel; fees may apply.

Matira Terrace Restaurant - This airy restaurant offers breakfast, lunch, and dinner overlooking the lagoon. An adjacent bar features a light menu, tropical drinks, and afternoon tea. Local musicians perform nightly. Pofai Beach Bar - Guests can enjoy lunch and refreshing beverages at this beach bar. Once a week, sunset cocktails and appetizers are served as local residents perform traditional songs and dances.
