Features
What to expect: Feng shui practitioners were consulted in the design of this hotel, which is favored by airline flight crews. Artwork and colors were chosen for their positive energy, and every floor features potted plants and trickling waterfalls. Amenity highlights: Guests have free access to a self-service business center and an adjacent YMCA that includes an Olympic-size indoor pool, two floors of exercise equipment, free weights, a basketball court, and an aerobics facility. Insider tip: The New England Medical Center subway station is right next door, providing easy access to the rest of Boston, but there's plenty to see and do nearby. Chinatown's shops have excellent deals on spices, kitchen accessories, and dishes, and Boston's famous Public Garden is just 2 blocks away.
Wisteria - This 60-seat restaurant serves Pan Asian cuisine at lunch and dinner. Entrées include grilled tuna, Asian-style seafood stew, and grilled steak. Vines Café - This light and airy café serves American-style breakfast (buttermilk pancakes, French toast, bagel sandwiches) and lunch (gourmet sandwiches, salads, New England clam chowder).

| We ejoyed our stay very much. The staff was extremely helpful and the cookies were the best. We had wished the whirlpool and exercise equipment had been closer.

| The hotel didn't honor our no-smoking reservation the first night, but moved us to a no-smoking room for the rest of our stay. The room was spacious, quiet, and comfortable. The location was excellent--a "T" station halfway down the block, and a taxi stand across the street. Free towels were provided to dry off outdoor seats at Harvard graduation. We'd go back, for sure.

| Hotel is fine, albeit a little strange -- we had to walk about a hundred yard of twisting corridors, up and down steps, to get to our room. Seems overpriced for what it is, which is somewhere between luxury and budget.

| Nice facilities for the money. Keep in mind Boston Downtown is pricey, but this hotel was nice, great location, and great value. Room was clean with good amenities. Access to the YMCA for those who want to swim, or workout. Located in the Theater District and China town. Less than a block to the train for easy access back to the airport or around the city. I would stay there again.

| This hotel was in a great location. The metro stop was a half block away. The Boston common was about 6 blocks away. If you like to shop, Filene's, TJ Maxx, Eddie Bauer outlet, Marshall's are all an easy walk up Washington Ave. There are also great restaurants very close by, especially Vietnamese food. Not far away is the Freedom Trail as well for an historic walk.

| I can recommend this hotel without reservations, well, almost. I had an interior room without a window. It actually had a fake window on one of the walls with a red light behind it. But the room was large and comfortable and the hotel was adjacent to a subway stop. Short walk from the city center.
