| We live in the Heidelberg area and stayed one night at this Hotel to visit with members of a church group. Typically you can find hotels with charm and quaintness that include Breakfast for less or not more than we paid at the Hirschberg. However, this hotel charges $15 for Breakfast and some of the wait staff are less than friendly. We were invited to the evening meal that was included for the tour group and it was a disgrace to any notion of good cusisine. It consisted of Rice, Carrots and Peas, and about 6 cubes of Chicken and Turkey. We received 3 Rolls to share with a table of 5. The Head Waitress, who must be the long lost daughter of Nurse Ratchett, did not restrain her contempt for us. Special requests such as crackers and cheese for a diabetic prior to dinner were responded with "not my problem".
