Features
What to expect: The hotel’s clientele includes business guests, leisure travelers, and theater buffs who enjoy the charm of a historic hotel, artistically designed guestrooms, and nearby nightlife. A porter ushers guests into a bold and beautiful lobby with marble flooring, pillars, and coffered ceilings embellished with intricate moldings. Guestrooms were renovated in 1999. Amenity highlights: Among the three nightclubs on the premises is the Roxy, where guests have priority admission. One of Boston’s premier clubs, it often has lines halfway down the street, and is open Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights with local and international dance music, concerts, and shows. For shows at other Boston clubs and theaters, the concierge will assist with tickets. Insider tip: In summer, the Commonwealth Shakespeare Company stages free performances in the Boston Common, only 3 blocks from the hotel. Guests should bring something to sit on. It’s also a good spot for a picnic.
Caprice - This lively restaurant with French cabaret posters is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. It features a Mediterranean menu with fresh pasta, chicken, steak, and fish. In an adjoining lounge, the stylish stainless-steel bar is surrounded by high stools, suede banquettes, and chairs.

| The room was very small, but nicely designed. Parking is expensive. Close to T stop and in the heart of the theatre district. Nightclubs attached to hotel and you can hear the music on the weekends, luckily they close at 2am. Overall I was satisfied but I would not jump to stay there again.

| Room was cramped and uncomfortable but staff was helpful and courteous. Keys for elevator were unreliable and difficult to use. Recommend only if price is right.

| Location is everything and this hotel is in the middle of the theatre district. Thus, it was invaluable. The hotel itself is clean with friendly staff. However, the rooms have only the mirror in the bathroom, no full length mirror and the towel racks are so high that a 5 ft person would need to jump to reach them!! There is only a small shelf for soap so you have to put other essentials on the floor. Definitely geared to "business men"!

| This is a fabulous Boston hotel right in the theatre district (right across from the Wang Theatre) and close to many public transportation lines. The room was clean and just enough space for a quick overnight stay. The renovations they have done are just right!

| Classic building, great location. The new decor will be attractive when complete throughout, but still a work in progress with some services limited.

| Just a bad thing, don't touch anything in the room or you will have to pay... the room was nice, bathroom clean. It is an excellent hotel.
