| I enjoyed my week's stay at the Sheraton University Center in Philadelphia. This hotel is extremely convenient to the Penn campus, only one block away. It has a nice parking garage, available to guests for $15 per day. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The rooms are clean and well appointed, though not luxurious. The beds are very comfortable. I would definitely stay there again.

| We arrived at 6:30 a.m., having taken the red-eye. We were exhausted, and I offered to pay for (extraordinarily) early check-in. The guy at the front desk checked me in then and there, at no extra charge. This service was uniform: the maid agreed to clean my room "on the spot" to fit my schedule, the bartender offered to sell me a bottle of wine to go so I wouldn't have to hike to a government store in a bad lneighborhood at night, etc. The quality of the physical plant was fine enought, but the staff was absolutely super. Choose the Sheraton if you're visiting Penn!!!

| Unless you need to be right next to Univ. of Penn stay away from this hotel. Service was bad but the room was worse. Cracks in the ceiling, stains on the furniture, bathroom floor had not been cleaned, and hair in sink and tub. Sheets too small for bed. TV covered in dust. The elevator is slow and rickety at best. Sheraton should be ashamed!

| Granted I didn't have much time to really look around, as I was there for the Philadelphia marathon, but it just didn't seem like there was much around the hotel in terms of sights to see. The Phila. Museum of Art WAS walkable at ~2miles, though. If you're considering this place for the marathon, it's good for spectators in that mile 7.5 is only 2 blocks away, but the start and finish is, again, 2 miles away.

| I came for a job interview at Penn, and I must say that the service here was excellent. I got a great night's rest, which definitely helped the next day. A strong recommendation from me for this hotel to anyone coming on business!

| The hotel did not hold the room that I had requested and I had to settle for a smaller bed and room. The room service and bar are way overpriced. The employees do not wish to help. They try to look busy but I kept getting passed to the next person. When I did have a question or concern, they were not all that interested in helping me. I asked for one employee to call me when the manager arrived and they never did. I will definitely look elsewhere to find lodging when I go back.

| Enjoyed the hotel, service was good, people were nice, and it was clean. Keep in mind, their is a difference between how close the Convention Center is compared to the Civic Center. Other than that I would stay there again....

| Dependable quality from Sheraton. They give you lots of pillows, which is a nice change. My only complaint was that we checked our bags for the day, and the staff member who retrieved them was less than nice. But everyone else was helpful. Good business hotel.
