| Stayed here for an overnight while driving through Central IL. Comfortable and pretty clean place to stay. Nothing fancy, but quiet, well located and near food/shopping. Seemed to have a number of railroad/construction type workers staying there. Good value for a plast to sleep.

| Totally unimpressed. The non-smoking room was between two smoking rooms and it smelled like it.

| The price was excellent for a nice sized room. However, the cleanliness of the room was horrible. As well as the fact that we were told it was a non-smoking room, but there was no sign on the door stating such, and there was an ashtray in the room. When we questioned the staff, they said that all rooms are now non-smoking.

| We stayed at this hotel for the weekend for a family reunion and I was very impressed with my experience. The lady at the front desk was so sweet and she even called us when we got to our room to make sure everything was OK. The room was clean and didn't smell bad. Everything in the room worked well. My only complaint was that the breakfast area was small and so everyone was gathered around the toaster in the morning. I just took a danish and juice back to my room. But I'd definitely recommend this hotel and if we're ever in the Decatur area again, we will be staying there.

| The hotel turned out to be better than I expected. Booking it at first was a little scary, it was one of the only hotels around that was not booked on the weekend I was there. The room was clean and the hotel staff was courteous and friendly. It may not have been the best hotel that I have ever stayed in but it was by far not the worst.

| I had stayed at another hotel in the Decatur area a few years ago and paid twice what I did for the Baymont. I am so glad I gave this place a try, it will get my business from now on - all the amenities and comfort of a more expensive room at a bargain price. Staff was great too, friendly and the room kept spotless.

| The exterior of the hotel was neat enough. Check in was expedient due to internet reservation. Interior of hotel lobby and room was shabby and worn. Heat had been left on to an extrene temperature. Toliet ran ALL night. Maintenance was a joke. Toliet ran second night ALL night. Staff courteous but could care less.
