| The Inn fit our needs very well and was priced reasonably compared to others. It is not a really large complex, the room was clean and neat, and the staff were mostly competent. Although there was a elevator problem that was noisy and probably annoying for upstairs guests, the staff had no sympathy and we had some difficult nap times. Other than that, staff booked us taxies and gave good local advice. We were here the week of Memorial Day and we were surprised that the place still had vacancies. The pool and spa even at peak times were never really busy. The pool was great for a three year old. Breafasts had decent variety and were available for an extended time each morning and you could either sit pool side or at tables near the grassy central area. This was a great part of the trip for us as we didn't have to start our days in a hurry to get something to eat. Skip the wine and cheese thing for happy hour unless you're not really picky about wines. We ended up bringing our own each night which was perfectly fine. We'd stay here again for the ease and location but definitely might be willing to look for slightly better values. There are pleny of AAA similar sized Inns down Bath Street without "across the street from the Beach" which we were probably paying a premium for and not benefitting from any real water views.

| I would recommend this hotel to others. The staff was very friendly; afternoon wine and cheese; nice breakfast; guest laundry; nice pool; across the street from ocean. It wasn't super "fancy", but had every ammentiy you might want...In fact the service, etc. was better than many hotels that are triple the price!!

| Basically a nicely fixed up motel. Right across the street from the beach. Beautiful garden, adequate breakfast, clean, quiet, nicely decorated rooms. Bathrooms are dated but clean. We had a room a little more in the back without a view. There are some rooms that would have a nice harbor view, but they are right on the street so they might be a little noisy. 3 stories with elevator. Free parking on site.

| My six-year-old son and I travelled to Santa Barbara for vacation, and chose the West Beach Inn for it's location, which is directly across the street from the beach. The room was tiny, but I knew that it would be so I wasn't surprised or disappointed. The service was first-rate, and the free continental breakfast was first-rate. Overall, I was very happy with our stay, and would stay again in the future.

| We really enjoyed this hotel. It's in walking distance of many restaurants, the pier and the marina. A trolley runs by to take you up State Street. We had a Harbor View room which was great. I would definitely stay here again.

| West Beach Inn is located right across the street from the ocean/beach in Santa Barbara. There is a path for walking/biking/running along the beach. The mountains are in the background. If you like this type of activity the location is ideal. Close to restaurants also. The hotel has a wine & cheese reception in the evening, which is nice. In the morning they have a continental breakfast, which is very abundant. The rooms are clean and comfortable.
