In addition to complimentary breakfast, cocktails, and cookies, dining-and-refreshment options include Harry’s Bar for drinks and appetizers, and Starbucks for coffee and pastries. Numerous top-notch restaurants are within an easy stroll.

The hotel offers 10,000 square feet of meeting space, including the 250-seat Magnolia Ballroom, which is in a separate building across 17th Street.

    Valet parking:
$16–25 per 24-hour period. Underground garage.
Fees do not include tax and are subject to change without prior notification.

    Recreation
Guests have secured 24-hour access to the hotel’s fitness center, which includes a spacious lobby, cardio equipment, weight machines, strategically placed televisions, a sauna, and women’s and men’s locker rooms.

A bicycling and running path runs along Cherry Creek, five blocks away. The South Platte River, popular for whitewater rafting and kayaking, is accessible about one mile northwest of downtown. Bike paths and parks line the river.

The 314-acre City Park, less than five miles from downtown Denver, is home to a golf course, tennis and horseshoe courts, playgrounds, two lakes, and sport fields. The Denver Zoo and Denver Museum of Nature and Science are also located there.

Summit County, a little more than an hour west of Denver, offers four popular ski areas: Breckenridge, Copper Mountain, Keystone, and Arapahoe Basin. Vail is 100 miles west of Denver.

    Features
What to expect: Though the hotel is located in the city center, guests leave behind the noise of the street once they enter the lobby, an intimate space appointed with floral arrangements—magnolias, of course—leather sofas, wingback chairs, and a fireplace. A 12-story atrium surrounds the courtyard, highlighted with a soothing waterfall in the lower-level lobby. The hotel attracts a high percentage of business travelers, who appreciate the downtown locale and work-friendly room amenities.

Amenity highlights: Guests enjoy complimentary perks throughout the day, including Continental breakfast, “happy hour” drinks, and milk and cookies before bed, all of which are served in The Club, a warmly inviting room with a magazine library. The 24-hour fitness center includes a sauna, TVs, and women’s and men’s locker rooms. Harry’s Bar, a popular after-work spot, features a wide selection of creative cocktails, live music most weekends, and retro-mod decor. Wireless Internet access is available throughout the hotel (surcharge).

Insider tip: The Denver Performing Arts Complex, three blocks from the hotel, has nine theaters seating 10,000 people. The complex offers opera, symphony, ballet, touring Broadway shows, and a Tony Award–winning regional theater.

Excellent smaller boutique hotel and great location to 16th St Mall. Because my grandson stayed with us, we chose the suite combination and it was perfect. Beds were heavenly and the complimentary breakfast/ reduced price happy hour was a nice surprise.

This was a real find in downtown Denver, just across from the 16th Street Mall. The room was spacious, the front desk staff members were very helpful, giving us maps, directions, and even obtaining some late-day ball game tickets. I would definitely stay here again.

I've stayed here on numerous trips to Denver for business and have always had a good experience. The location is very central to the business district and convention center. The staff is very helpful and nice. Rooms are clean, comfortable and well appointed. For business travel, I think it's an ideal choice - probably wouldn't hesitate to stay there on a vacation either.

The hotel itself was nice, although the air conditioner in the room was extremely loud when it came on. It was so loud that it woke us up every 20-30 minutes when it would come on and start running. We had a major problem with the valet service which is the reason why we wouldn't recommend this hotel. The guy got in our face and yelled at us. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL AND RUDE!
