| The Coronado is a cozy little 3 star hotel-quite central in Zurich-It is a modern business and family hotel with 36 rooms. With this invitation we'd like to introduce our comfy hotel with it's special charm: That starts at the front desk already. In the Coronado we don't only spread the usual check in / check out feeling. We always have an ear and good tips for our guests. And everybody, who needs a little souvenir for family & friends at home - we are sure, here you'll find something. Each of our 36 rooms has a modern fit up, provides bathroom or shower, hairdryer, mini bar. TV, touch-tone phone with Internet connection and most of them have air condition. The Coronado has undergone a total renovation in 1997. Also our conference room for up to 10 people, and the free parking in front and behind the hotel are always well appreciated by our guests. Our chef Mr Valle. and Mr Senol would like to care for you in our Italian specialty restaurant "La Golondrina". Refreshing Italian cuisine and the personal care are our main concerns. Please also try our specialty of the house, the incomparable and homemade ravioli, stuffed with boletus, veal or spinach... mamma mia, che buono. The Hotel Coronado is situated very central; only about 10 minutes from the airport and Zurich main station, vis-a-vis the University Zurich Irchel. Just across the street a relaxing world is about to welcome you. Suddenly you will find yourself in a beautiful park with biotope, Finnish jogging path and benches, that invite you to linger. The trams 7, 9, 10 und 14 stop right in front of the house and enable you to enjoy your ride throughout the whole city! Various stores are easy to reach by walking. Besides that we also offer a shuttle bus - transfer from and to the airport for a reasonable charge.

| This hotel located a bit away from the center of the city. However if you know how to use train, it won't bother. The hotel entrance and lobby looks old and narrow, but room are very clean and comfortable.

| This hotel was perfect for our trip. The staff at the hotel was very hepful and even told us things that were going on in the city the evening we were there. The rooms were smallish, but we didn't spend much time in there. They were very clean and comfortable. Had everything that we needed. TV, hair dryer, air conditioning, mini bar, soap, shampoo- all in room. And the FREE PARKING was a great deal too. Normally this can run you around $20-$30/ day.

| This hotel was fabulous, especially for the price paid. The restaurant was delicious, the staff was friendly and very helpful, and the rooms were very clean and comfortable. The AC was controlled in the room and was very effective, which is something you don't always find in European hotels. There is a tram stop right across the street, and depending on which of the four tram lines you can take from the hotel, you are only 7-9 stops from the central train station & main shopping street (Bahnhofstrasse). You can take a train from the airport to central station in about ten minutes & then catch the 7,9,10, or 14 tram from there to the Milchbuck stop to get to the hotel. We had three in our room & it was just big enough, not too crowded. The staff was so customer-service oriented, and they sold nice gifts in the lobby. The street it's on is kind of busy, so you may want to ask for a room on the back side of the hotel. Although, it wasn't so noisy that we couldn't sleep, because we had the windows closed.

| Tram is just opposite the hotel that runs every 5-10 minutes and will take you to Central Train Station for about 10 minutes. Hotel is clean, comfortable, but small. Staff is friendly and helpful. I recommend recommend this hotel, and will stay here again.

| Really a nice clean and well appointed European hotel. Seems much of it was just remodeled and although typically small rooms, very clean and very comfortable. A much better value than staying downtown.
