I was very excited to stay at this hotel because it was a five star hotel. Unfortunately I was a little disappointed. The staff at the reception was not particularly friendly - except the concierge who was very nice and who brought our luggage to our room. The room, which was a standard room, was very small - we had to put one suitcase inside the closet and the other one on top of the arm chair. Our bathroom was full of ants when we arrived - which the concierge took care of by calling a maid right away. And our mini-bar had cheese and other food from a previous guest - which again our poor concierge cleaned out himself. The hotel itself was nice with nice seating rooms. The pool is very small - it appears much bigger in the picture. And it did not look very clean - so we never swam in it. The location is nice because of great access to the bus and to Valletta - however if you would like to be somewhere more lively I would recommend St.Julian's - that is where I will stay if I ever go back to Malta. Malta is awesome though a very expensive country.
