| If you choose to stay at this hotel, request a room on the first floor. We stayed at the hotel for two non-consecutive nights. The first night on the first floor. We had no issues and were quite pleased. The second night we had a room on the third floor. Everything appeard to be in order. However, upon waking, we realized that we were bitten by bed bugs. We informed the front desk, so I hope the management will address the issue appropriately, i.e. with proper clean up/fumigation. The shuttle bus driver was very friendly and helpful. Most of the front desk staff were nice. Although, one of the front desk managers was quite rude to my mom. Overall, the hotel was fine.

| Other than mapquest not being able to give us directions, our 1 night stay was very pleasant. Our friend who flew in said it was easy to get to from the airport and after we discovered the right road, it is easy to get to from I-10. If you are in to Casino's there is one within walking distance. There is a lot of security because of the casino, so we felt very safe.

| For the price we paid I expected a little more value. Everything was over priced for the quality of service. The breakfast was cold and for the $15.00 each we had paid. Continental breakfast was 8.50 for a cold danish and I had to get my own coffee from THEIR pot. The drinks at the bar were over priced and dinner was over priced. The Casino next door was certainly not an enhancement. Aprox. 1 sec. guard for every 10 patrons gave the effect that something bad was about to happen. they took it upon themselves to make sure you didn't "walk in the wrong direction ie: exit the entrance walk way. the dealers were rude and the drinks were hard to get. We spent a large amount of money here also, before I had enough of the rudeness.

| This was a great hotel. After struggling with finding our way through New Orleans, this was a very relaxing experience. We also recommend Trauth's Lake House for a great dining experience.

| The room was titled as a non smoking room but had a terrible smoke smell. In fact my wife and I could smell the odor in our clothes even after we were out of the hotel a couple of Hours. The Beds and pillows were old and worn. Definitely needs replacing.
