Features
What to expect: This angular peach-and-gold stucco property with Spanish tile roof evokes California Mission style throughout, from the palm-lined driveway to the lobby with exposed beams and enormous wrought-iron chandelier and staircase. Most guests are vacationers, and many take advantage of the hotel's Disneyland shuttle, one of the services covered by the daily resort fee.

Amenity highlights: The lobby and adjacent Mexican restaurant open to an expansive, landscaped courtyard with an inviting swimming pool, spa, and seating areas beneath tall palm trees. For restless younger guests, the Kid's Club next to the restaurant provides small tables and toys. The hotel's mezzanine level houses Our Lady of Guadalupe Chapel, complete with altar and oak pews, available to guests for prayer and contemplation.

Copa de Oro - American and Mexican cuisine is served for all meals in this large Mission-style restaurant with arches, wrought-iron details, square tables in light woods with chairs upholstered in blue or yellow, and a separate area for daily breakfast buffets. The bar specializes in margaritas, and also serves beer, wine, cocktails, and other libations.

This is the first time I've stayed at this hotel, and we were initially really excited about how beautiful the hotel was. It looks fairly new and has a great pool area. However, our opinion changed rapidly over the course of our 4-day stay. The staff at the front desk were rude and very unhelpful. My 2-year-old son had the unfortunate luck to come down with the stomach flu while we were there, and we had to call the front desk and ask for more sheets and blankets quite a few times. Only half of the time did they actually respond...at one point I had to walk up and down the halls looking for a maid to help us because my son had soaked through every blanket in our room. We spent one night without adequate bedding at all because nobody would help us. We were also not pleased to find out that there is a extreme lack of parking at the hotel...they have some spaces in the front and when those are full, they have the guests park in a lot across the way at a restaraunt not owned by the hotel. We were told to just "ignore" the 2-hour parking sign at the restaraunt...which made us uneasy and we worried about our car being towed. I would really expect a hotel of this size to have it's own parking garage.

I was pleasantly surprised with my stay at the Crowne Plaza Resort in Anaheim, CA. I really liked the room in terms of comfort. The bed was really comfortable. The bathroom will larger than I expected. The staff (maids) and desk service was excellent. I also liked being across from Joe's Crab Shack and other restaurants in walking distance.

It was close, well-priced and has good atmosphere. Very close to resturants: Joe's Crab Shack, Outback Steakhouse. Very comfortable beds. All in all, a very nice experience.

Liked everthing about the hotel. Only problem I had was I couldn't find an ice machine that worked on any floor. When I brought it up to the front desk, they said they would look into it. It was never fixed the 3 days we were there. Very nice pool and jacuzzi area.

This hotel suited our needs for our entire visit to southern California. We were there to visit a college in Orange, so we picked this location for it's convience to the school. We found that the hotel was perfect as we explored southern California. The service was excellent, the rooms were clean and comfortable and the restaurants in the surrounding area gave us a variety of options to choose from.
