| The Lions Dive is beautifully located and benefits from its proximity to the Ocean Encounters Dive Shop and the wonderful aquarium. It is clean. Its exterior and gardens are well maintained. Its features such as tile flooring, excellent climate control are important details any hotel in the tropics could learn from. The restaurant -Nemo- does not live up to standards. The food is overpriced, the service and comfort are poor. You will find waiters sitting smoking at the bar while the already mediocre breakfast bar is a mess. The question: what kind of steak is your featured special "Hemingway steak" was answered "a piece of meat". For meals I recommend to go elsewhere or get your own wheaties- without coffee.

| My finace and I got married on the beach at sunset at this hotel in October and the enitre event was absolutely lovely. The hotel staff, manager Kurt, bartender Yves, F&B Ast. Manger Julliet and all of the other workers were pleasant, charming and overly courteous. It made our wedding an absolute joy. The hotel was under construction while we were there, so we can't wait to get back to see the finished product. Would recommend to anyone seeking nice beach, great resturant, friendly staff, and peace and quite.

| The hotel room was very clean and the bathroom recently updated with top of the line appliances. The room needs more lighting around the bed so you can read. In order to use U.S. appliances, we had to get a power converter from the front desk. Luckily we found a manager who understood our needs and was willing to lend assistance since the front desk staff wasn't about to help. The only real negative is the front desk staff who couldn't answer questions and conveniently didn't respond to requests for assistance. When we arrived Friday night, we asked about the dive shop and their schedule so that we could dive the next day. The front desk clerk could only tell us that the shop opened at 8 AM and beyond that knew nothing. Ocean Encounters, the independent on-site dive shop is first class and everyone provided outstanding service and all spoke english. I highly recommend them. I also recommend the Nemo restaurant which is excellent for lunch and dinner. Breakfast is OK with little variety. Prices are comparable to those in the U.S. The airport transportation arranged through Expedia was on time and well worth the price.
