| The door to the room was rusted. Very out dated interior decorations. Water was not very hot. We were glad it was only for one night.

| Hotel was nice overall. There is a diner in the parking lot, so that is convenient. It was easy to find. Beds were comfortable. Room was not cleaned after the first night. Shower was small and did not drain well. Hotel staff in lobby were friendly. Would stay again for an overnighter but not a lengthy stay.

| Just overall an older more run down hotel. One of our rooms the numbers weren't even on the door. The other room they were hanging by one nail. We were only staying one night on our way to somewhere else, so it wasn't a big deal, but I would not stay there again.

| The hotel was very clean and comfortable. I would stay again. The only negative was I never found the ice machine or vending machines. Does have a Denny's right next to it.

| We arrived at the La Quinta in Texas City Friday night about 10 pm. We were given our room keys and went to our room. When we arrived at our room, it was hot and muggy feeling, so we turned the air conditioner on, thinking that that would solve the problem. Well the room did not get cooler, so around 5 am my husband, 2 yr old and myself(7 mo pregnant) went to the office (in our air conditioned car!) and asked to get a maintanance person and a fan for our room. We were told by the lady setting up the breakfast (while eating 4 corn dogs) that there was no one there right now to look at it, and they don't keep fans around. We went to Walmart at 5 am and bought a fan for our room, and finally after calling 5 times a guy from the hotel showed up and said he couldn't do anything about the a/c but someone else would be by later in the day to check on it. We then opened the window because it was 87 degrees in the room and very humid. Before we left the hotel for the day, we stopped by the office and demanded a new room. They said we could move at the end of the day after all the other people had checked in....long story short...after arriving back at the hotel that night, they moved us to a room downstairs with a/c....crappy customer service!!!!!!!
