| Our rooms were huge, had very high ceilings and a sliding door between the two double beds - perfect for travelling with teens. Superlative service - hotel was extremely accomodating, even permitted a 6:30 am check in (we were international travellers). Our rooms had well-supplied kitchenettes and internet service. We had never stayed at any Heritage hotels before, but I would definitely stay at any one of this chain in the future (they also have conference centers).

| The Heritage staff were over-and-above friendly. Because of some difficulties in the travel, the front desk moved us from the hotel side to the tower side. We were slightly disappointed in the room setup, but I believe we were staying in the more corporate side. This was because the front desk was doing us a favor, so I can't complain about that. Otherwise, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at that hotel. The pools were lovely.

| Room was very comfortable with beautiful view of harbour and bridge. Close to everything, only a couple of blocks walking distance from downtown. Older building but well maintained and all the tour companies picked-up and dropped off directly at hotel. Staff was wonderful and helpful. Pool and exercise room were private access for guest only and view from pool area is of harbour. Will stay here definitely again on our next trip to area.

| It seemed like an off day for the Heritage Auckland. After having spent a few days in their Queenstown location I have to say that the Auckland location is missing something. The staff was not rude, but they weren't very accommodating. For example, after requesting a later checkout time they said we could get an extra hour (11am instead of 10am) "complimentary". The hotel itself is very clean as are the rooms. However, it lacks character-some travel guides say that since it was an old shopping center it has a certain panache, which somehow was lost on me. Skip their breakfast buffet, it is overpriced and very average (but so are most hotel breakfasts). BTW, they charge for local calls, dumb.

| This hotel is near Sky City, and the CBD. Within walking distance of most things you are going to want to do within Auckland. The staff are great. I've stayed at this hotel 6 times and will always consider this to be my hotel if they have space available.
