What to expect: This ultra-modern, two-story hotel with only 50 guestrooms attracts hip corporate and leisure travelers with its snazzy, modern ambience, along with soothing lighting, luxurious fabrics, and calm-inducing color schemes. Although the guestrooms feel like private sanctuaries, guests have plenty of chances to mix and mingle at breakfast and weekday evening receptions in the lobby. Amenity highlights: The complimentary Continental breakfast is served each morning at bistro tables in the lobby, and includes fresh coffee, fruit, pastries, and some of the best bagels in the city. Guests regroup for free wine and cheese on weekday evenings. A small fitness center is provided on site, and passes are available to a fitness center 3 blocks away (fee).

| Wonderful hotel, great location. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. room was clean and comfortable, no noise even though I was located on the main floor. complimentary breakfast served till 10.30am (loved that) Best hotel I've stayed at in LA for the price. This will be my hotel for all future business trips to LA. Highly recommended!

| I had two enjoyable nights at the Elan Moderne Hotel. Although they had to swtich my room (due to ongoing maintenance in my room) when I first checked in, I was moved to an upgraded king-size bedroom. The style and amenities of the room were great. I also enjoyed their daily continental breakfast because there was a wide variety of foods and their friendly service was excellent. Definitely first class. Best of all, the location was GREAT! Near everything...within walking distance to the Beverly Center and by car, close to Melrose and Sunset Blvd. The only downsize is that if you have a car like I did, you have to pay per day for valet parking and there is no guest parking, so my friends had to park away a little distance due to the restricted residental area. Overall, I would definitely stay here in the future.

| The food: A good continental breakfast. We didn't get a chance to be there for the afternoon wine reception as it is on weekdays only. Parking: Under fifteen bucks a night. Decor: Very modern, wall of glass windows in the lobby to sit by during your breakfast. Room: Clean, has an iron, safe, minibar (very pricey), coffee maker. The bathrooms were well stocked. Staff: Very friendly!

| I really like this hotel as it's pretty quiet and rooms are cozy and clean. Since I'm there on business, a pool is not a loss for me. Good neighborhood within walking distance to food and shops. For the most part, staff are great. The person at the desk on Friday mornings (or at least the last two I was there) was less than friendly and both times seemed put out that I was either asking questions or questioning why I was getting charged for 6 nights of parking when I was only there 5. The lady manager on in the evenings is the exact opposite and always willing to help.

| The most impressive part of this hotel was the staff who were extremely friendly, professional and accomodating. When we requested a bottle opener at 12am, they happily brought one up within a few minutes! The location of the hotel is also superb, we were within 15 minutes of everywhere we wanted to go in LA, from downtown to Universal Studio and minutes away from awesome restaurants.

| Convenient driving hub for many L.A. attractions. Within walking distance of Koi, Beverly Center, and the Ivy. The simple, modern decor is calming, after a hectic day in the L.A. traffic. The included Continental breakfast is fresh every morning, and satisfying. Drawbacks are the lack of a pool, and nightly valet charge to park your car.

| Very professional, discreet and accomodating staff. Everything, including the paint,looked new,clean and up-to-date. The continental breakfast and afternoon wine and cheese were very nice. Close to many great places, but far enough away from them to feel like you were on vacation.
