Tiny room by US standards but neat, clean, nicely appointed. Excellent location for tube, train, orwalking. Hotel food good but astronomically expensive. Local eating places average. Closest decent meal at reasonable price is in New York. Great hotel staff.

Great location for your stay in London. Easy walking distance to anywhere in London and close to Victoria Station. Within 10 minutes of Buckingham Palace for Changing of the Guard. Fine dining downstairs in the Library a bit on the spendy side but well worht it! Saturday and Sunday inclused breakfast was great and a good meal to get started with. Staff very friendly and helpful. The bar was a bit on the smokey side. Overall the stay was great

Charming boutique hotel directly across from The Royal Mews (part of Buckingham Palace). Perfect location for walking to many must-sees in London. Rooms small but nicely decorated and much more reasonable through Expedia than many other hotels in London.

As previous reviewers have noted the floors are wooden and do squeak. But this is mostly in the halls and presents very little disturbance in the room. The location and hotel were excellent. The downstairs lounge with the windows and piano were very nice.

Absolutely fab in all respects, with an extremely courteous, efficient, and often entertaining staff. One tiny complaint: because the lounge and restaurants are very popular, we had a couple of unreasonable waits for food and drink orders. Everything else was PERFECT.

This hotel is in a great location. We were very close to a tube stop and could walk directly to many great attactions. While the room is a little small, it was quiet, clean and had a nice large bathroom.

Great little hotel with a great location. Short walk from Victoria Station (express train to LGW from here). The room was clean and nice but small with one double bed. Would definitely stay here again. The breakfast buffet was very good.

We had a wonderful stay at the Rubens. The staff are friendly, courteous, and professional. The rooms are well designed and fairly spacious for London. The location can't be beat; less than 100 meters from Buckingham Palace. I would definitely stay here again.

Very upscale and pretty, but pricey for things like breakfast or room serive. Great location, right next to Buckingham Palace. Only downside was having to work hard to get a room that didn't face an air conditioner. We wound up facing the Palace and having a fabulous room after some negotiations with the front desk. Don't expect room upgrades without paying a lot of money for them.

This hotel has lots of old world charm and courtesy which is why the British themselves like it. Fresh flowers in the room is a plus.
