| What used to be called the "Hanoi Hilton" was a prison for American POWs, mainly pilots shot down over North Vietnam. Well just forget about that! The Hanoi Hilton is a really classy hotel, with great service, nice rooms, an ideal central location and everyting you want. Try the executive floor benefits, it's worth the extra money: you get the broadband internet for free, as well as the excellent breakfast on 7th floor, plus use of the executive lounge (I used it for meetings) and drinks in the late afternoon. The staff is super friendly and competent, the lobby lounge has good coffee, even the brand new restaurant, though a bit cold in design, warms you with great food and exorbitant service. Overall, a really good experience, to be recommended and repeated. I'll be back.
