| The hotel is nice and really well located, walking distance from Sandton City. However if you get a room in the back (room numbers starting with a 3), you have to walk about 10 minutes to get to your room and you don't always have hot water (sometimes you just need to let it run for about 30 minutes before it warms up). But we got a really good deal on this hotel, so I can honestly say we got value for money, just try to get a room close to reception!

| Upholstery was worn thru to stuffing on sofa. bathroom mirror broken in half. Carpet badly stained & dirty. Woodwork gouged in every room.

| As the hotel provides a complimentary shuttle to and from the airport, and has a moderate tarriff, it is ideal for short stays in Johannesburg. Sandton City shopping complex is 20 minute walk away, but there is nothing else in the vinicity. Rating would be maximum 3 stars.
