Features
What to expect: Adjacent to a seafarers'-type tavern, a wall festooned with the names of longtime guests attests to the resort's capacity to inspire loyalty. Widely spaced on the 30-acre peninsula and separated by lawns and flowering gardens, guest cottages occupy rolling terrain, forming a pink-and-white community under coconut palms and ancient Flamboyant trees. The open Atlantic Ocean borders the resort's north side, and Mangrove Bay borders its south side. Tranquility reigns. Children under age 5 are not permitted. Amenity highlights: Five pink-sand beaches are on the peninsula. The largest, Long Bay, runs 125 yards along the open Atlantic Ocean and is furnished with thatch shades and lounge chairs. Long Bay Café offers lunch and tropical drinks next to the beach. Two pools provide freshwater swimming. An indoor pool with retractable skylight roof is part of a health-and-beauty spa. A heated, 45-foot-square outdoor pool includes a large sundeck furnished with lounge chairs and umbrellas and offers a poolside bar. Steps lead from the pool deck to Morning Beach on Mangrove Bay. Insider tip: Three days weekly, the resort provides complimentary 20-minute ferry rides to downtown Hamilton for shopping, dining, and sightseeing.
The Tamarisk Room - Overlooking Mangrove Bay. Peaked ceiling with pale-wood beams, pink walls. Also terrace seating under white canopy and umbrellas. Buffet and á la carte breakfasts. | The staff at Cambridge Beaches is incredible! They treated us like royality, and made our honeymoon the most memorable time of our lives. The food was wonderful, as was the views from our quaint cottage. If you are looking to get away and be pampered, Cambridge Beaches is the place for you.

| My husband and I were first time travelers to this beautiful island and selected this resort to the closest proximity to the annual "jazz festival." Felt the concierge was not as in tune with the surrounding attractions and transportation as she should have been; i.e. directed to a ferry a "leisure" walk turned out to be 2 miles to a ferry out of order for 3 days to the "dock yards." Toiletrie items to be replaced daily were only replaced when requested and expected a "stocked" mini bar rather than room service requests which turned out to be extremely pricey. Bermuda has very scant grocery or mini marts. View was wonderful...and resort is peaceful and secluded if you are not looking for a busy resort with children activities(children under 5 not allowed.) We will go back.

| Staff at the hotel was extremely friendly and helpful. Our first room was not clean- stains on the couch, etc., but we were moved to a second room that was nicer. We had a private backyard and patio with a great view of the ocean (even our own small, but private beach/cove. There were no kids, which was just what we were looking for. The food was good and the spa was nice. The main drawback was the nearly hour drive from the airport after 1.5 hours in customs.

| This hotel has everything - a beautiful location, palm trees, private beaches, prefectly manicured lawns and gardens, tennis courts, swimming pools, a beauty salon and extremely helpful staff. There is always "more tea madam?" and the hotel is run very thoughtfully, eg: they even leave you candles and matches in your room in case you want a private candlelit dinner. The rest of Bermuda is very pretty, extremely safe, and the food is great.
