| The Timbers was spacious and great for my husband, myself and our 12 year old. She had her own room (the living room) and we had the bedroom. The bathroom was not in the bedroom, thankfully, so it was accessible from all areas. The kitchen was great and encouraged us to save some money instead of having to go out to eat all the time. It's the cleanest, neatest, most spacious place we've ever been.

| We stayed in the studio with the king bed and although probably one of their smaller rooms, it was spacious and comfortable. it appeared brand new although i don't think it was. The staff were great and even called when we hadn't left the room at a normal hour to see if we wanted service! It's in a great location in Denver. CLose to downtown,Golden and Boulder, which is where we spent most of our time.

| i am in this hotel right now and felt compelled to try and let others know that this place just doesn't measure up. first of all, there is no PPV movie service. there is a lame lineup of cable, mainly news and weather channels. second, i called for room service and got a voicemail box saying that i had called outside normal hours. (7 p.m.???) when i called the front desk, the employee lazily replied, "oh, yeah. they need to change that. try 302." the food came from the in house restaurant and was cold. a side of "seasonal vegetables" was 4 stalks of asparagus -- i counted! in the room, there is no guide to the hotel, no map, no information whatsoever. i will say that it is very clean and the beds are comfortable. i was realllly disappointed since this place is not at all what i expected.

| The Hotel was a big surprise. REEEALY Nice. Includes breakfast and includes happy hour with free wine and beer - Nice touch! It was a perfect location if you plan to go to the airport (which we were) - but not ideal if your main goal is to tourist down town Denver. Busy street.

| My first impression of the hotel was based on my online review of The Timbers' website. Looked great, but I got the impression that it was an "all suites" hotel. My second impression was based on the look of the lobby. I liked the Colorado rustic feel. Nice. However, when it came to our room, I was disappointed. It was smaller than I thought it would be. The bathroom was very clean, but the curved shower curtain rod allowed a lot of water to pool on the outside of the rectangular shaped shower floor. At the end of a shower, we had to sop up the water with towels. The bed was absolutely wonderful. Very large, fluffy, and comfortable. The decor was also nice, again following the modern but rustic feel. When using front desk services we were a bit disappointed. The desk was out of quarters seemingly all day on a weekend day. When we tried to buy stamps, they had none. When we asked for a place for breakfast, we asked two people (one was a manager) and waited for 10 minutes, with no result. We finally gave up after they looked through papers, but weren't able to come up with anything but a nearby Denny's in a not-so-great part of town. We were up for an adventure, so we just went searching for ourselves. For our purposes, the hotel was adequate, but with a little more effort, it could become above average.

| Many of the reviews would have you believe that this was a suburban version of the Ritz Carlton. While the hotel is nice and the staff are very courteous, it is not a five - or even strong four - hotel. First, the good things: Very big rooms, a decent complimentary breakfast, a cordial and accomodating staff, and easy access to the airport and the freeway. On the downside: Somewhat remote location, beds that are way too soft (if you have a bad back try to get something without the EXTREME pillowtop type mattress, my back is still sore from this thing) and mediocre grounds (I looked outside at a half finished yard and a trucking company parking lot). Again, overall it is a pretty decent hotel, especially if you like a big room (the rooms were all quite large suites), just don't think that it is extravagent.

| The staff was very cordial and helpful during the check in process. Our room was spotless and tastefully decorated. The premium bedding is what really separates this hotel from its competition. The pillowtop mattress, luxurious comforter, and soft pillow were a welcome relief to this tired travelor and provided a comfortable night's sleep. Other positives included a large TV with several movie channels, a top notch fitness center, and spacious lobby with a large flat panel TV for movie viewing outside of the room. In the morning, the hotel offers a complimentary "hot breakfast" for its guests. Scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, and several varieties of fresh fruit were offered. The quality and selection of the free breakfast was certainly another feature that sets this hotel apart. There were a couple of negatives with my stay. The first one is minor. The electronic locking room door was finicky and I had to use my electronic key to exit every time. The other negative was of greater concern. My room's air conditioner was undersized for the area to cool and was placed in a position that its air flow was blocked by the side of my bed! Ordinarily the AC is probably not a problem in Denver but it was unseasonably hot the night of my stay. So, yes, I did notice. Other than that, The Timbers, offers a lot more amenities for the money than other hotels in its class and should be considered a great value.

| The hotel was all we expected and more. The continental breakfast was a real breakfast like none I've had in a hotel before. The only disappointment was the view from the room, it looked like there was construction or trouble with landscaping. The room was great, the amenities awesome, I'd definitely stay here again!
