Each of the 45 rooms has been designed with individual and unique tastes, using the light and a variety of colours to give the rooms a home like feeling. The rooms are fitted with all modern conveniences to make each stay as easy and enjoyable as possible. Each room contains colour cable television, Pay-per-view access, cordless phone, a safe box, a fully stocked mini-bar and climate control. The Hotel Wellenberg offers guest services to make your stay effortless and comfortable. Your choices are close and convenient dining at the Italian restaurant Cantina, or socializing on the first floor "Tina" bar. If you need a quiet night in, you can enjoy a meal in the comfort of your own room 24 hours a day. You will wake up every morning to our large breakfast buffet, which includes our famous homemade "Birchermuesli" and a big varied selection to accommodate every taste. Breakfast is served from 6.45 to 11 during the week and from 7.45 to noon during the weekend. Weather permitting you could enjoy an unforgettable brunch in our idyllic courtyard or extend your breakfast into a meeting in our breakfast room (we will help you make the necessary arrangements). If you feel like spending a night at "home", chose to relax with a glass of house wine or a drink from our self service bar, open every evening from 5 to 11. In addition to all these conveniences, the Wellenberg staff will make your stay truly feel like home.

| A small, clean, cozy, and nice hotel located in a pedestrian-only area of the old town. Service was impeccable. No complaints at all except for the one below. The ONLY negative, and it was a big one, is that there was a city festival on the pedestrian area immediately outside of the hotel. While this made for an interesting walk around the hotel each night, it also meant that a band was playing loud music about 100 feet from my window until 2:00 am for two nights in a row. Since I had flown in from the US and was suffering jet lag, having my sleep cut way short was not appreciated. To be clear, I can't blame the hotel for this. I would gladly stay there again, but would be sure to check the calendar for any street festivals and would have pass if they have any scheduled.

| Nice clean hotel, right in the middle of downtown Zurich, surrounded by restaurants and bars. Nice size rooms, nice bathrooms, fluent English spoken behind the desk. A great choice for Zurich

| Decent hotel right off Niederdorf. You can make you're own boiled eggs at breakfast, with your own timer, but no full breakfast. Hotel offers umbrellas at the door for Zurich's rainy days. Nice touch. No Air Conditioning, which, on a hot summer day, might get to you.

| I stayed here just one night as I had a brief layover in Zurich before flying out the next morning. I wanted something in Old Town Zurich that would be within walking distance to shops, restaurants and sights - and this hotel fit the bill just right. It's a clean and modern styled hotel with nice rooms. Mine was a bit small but no worse than some boutique New York hotels I've stayed at in the past. And it's a short 15 minute shuttle or taxi to the Airport.

| This hotel fully met our expectations. Rated 4 out of 5 stars by Swiss rating system. Good value for the price. The Expedia pictures indeed captured the look and feel of the hotel. The location is excellent - 5 minutes walk from the train station, and walking distance to all tourist sights in Zurich. Clean, friendly, modern. Would definitely return there ourselves.
