| We had a very wonderful stay! People were very helpful and nice, pleasant. The hotel also is very handy to other places in the Jaco area. The location of the hotel is very convient to travel the surrounding area as well. The drawback from the hotel was that there was only one elevatered hotel section, and only 2 non smoking room per floor. Other than that, it was good.

| I just got back from a 6 night stay at the Best Western in Jaco.We had a great trip overall. The rooms were in need of some updating, but were clean. The bartenders were all really nice and always had a drink waiting for you:)There was a tour guy at the hotel (grayline) to help set up tours. But we found better deals on the main street in Jaco. The food was okay-but the view from the dining room was even better. The pool was too hot...definatly go to the beach! I thought the beach was awesome .Black sand or not, I was definatly happy with the beach; great waves, and not crowded during the week. I also liked that the resort provided chairs for the beach. All in all, if I were to go back to Jaco, I would stay there becuase some of the other hotels looked sketchy. Have fun!

| Security is very high at this hotel. Staff of employees are extremely friendly and accomodating of requests. The bathrooms are small and outdated, however very clean. Our room had a private balcony with spectacular views of the ocean and the mountains. We were on the 5th (top) floor. The grounds, sidewalks and flowers were outstanding. This hotel is recommended if traveling to Jaco.

| There are not too many hotels to choose from in Jaco Beach, but Best Western was more than sufficient. First advantage to mention is that the hotel is on the beach. Secondly, there is the all inclusive option, personally if you don't that this option you are sure to lose out. All meals, alcohol, and even bikes are available. The staff was amazingly friendly and most of them spoke great English. Pool, Kiddie pool, pool tables, snack bar, and a small gift shop which was surprizing reasonably priced. If I go back to Jaco, Best Western would be the only hotel I check for availability.

| rooms were small, pool was too warm and gym was not worthy but they are our only complaints. beach was clean and waves incredible. horseback riding on beach, zipline (canopy tour) highly recommended. let locals take you on tours, cheaper than hotel tours. take taxi from airport to hotel about $70, can most likely find someone to return to airport with you and share taxi cost- too long and expensive with grayline bus!

| Excellent location, price, and service. Meals were excellent, bar drinks & snacks super and views from rooms, bar, and restaurants outstanding. Lovely, lovely beach with wide sand beaches. Pictures on web do not do it justice.
