In fact it was the home of Albert Silvera-the world-renowned collector of classic automobiles-who in 1950 decided to convert it into the most elegant resort in Haiti.

Guest rooms are large, bright and breezy and come with air conditioning. Most have private terraces. There are five pleasant suites, exquisitely decorated. Deluxe rooms feature Italian marble floors and bright red bathtubs with golden feet. There are two swimming pools, one of which has a sunken bar under a waterfall. The hotel also has a championship tennis court and a health club with sauna and a massage room. The three conference rooms are ideal for small and very special meetings and events for up to 300 people.
