| The hotel is located midway between Krakow and Oswiecim with the a very easy drive to either location. The hotel setting is very peaceful and relaxing. Two points that should be made is the hotel does not have air conditioning and the section where we stayed did not have an elevator. We would stay there again should we return to Krakow.

| The hotel double booked our room, so we couldn't stay there the first night. They put us up at a 2 star hotel and paid for the taxi back, but we spent more time in the taxi the first day than on the airplane. The hotel is almost 40 kilometers over terrible roads from Krakow. The taxi bill to get there was $40, and that is one way. The hotel is in the middle of nowhere with nothing to do. Bus service is nonexistent.

| the hotel/staff are nice/friendly, but accessability to the central square in krakow / auswitch is a problem. one will end up paying upto 125 dollars (US) per day just for transportation. the food is great. the hotel seems to be popular for banquets/private parties and the loud music that goes late into the night can get disturbing in the hotel rooms due to poor sound proofing. would recommend staying closer to the central square.

| If you're planning to do your sightseeing in and around Krakow this place is no where near the city. As I recall the map said 13 km from Krakow - which might be the farthest point of surburban Krakow because my cabdriver clocked it as 25 km. It's two villages away, an hour of travel and a $45 dollar taxi ride from Old Town. Beautiful country escape if you're traveling by car. You can wake up to the sound of birds chirping and roosters crowing in the morning. The full breakfast has a wide selection of American- style as well as Polish breakfast food. Staff is friendly and helpful. I stayed in the standard room which is a separate building from the palace. The room was small, but clean. The bathroom has modern fixtures.
